Chapter 30: Ay! So you didn't know to add?

Pitt suddenly came out of his thoughts when he heard Balt's voice. He looked at him and asked.

"Sorry I didn't hear you, can you repeat it."

Balt looked at him for a moment and asked again. 

"I said how was it? Did you feel anything wrong or something?"

Ian, who heard their conversation, immediately stepped back from both of them in a hurry. He didn't know if he felt it right but there seems to be a wrong vibe between the two. 

'It's better safe than sorry' he thought.

Hearing Balt, Pitt nodded his head and explained what he thought, he also said that the weight became lighter, and carrying the body became easier for him.

Balt nodded his head and pondered for a while before he asked Ian.

"Can you also make our bodies lighter like how you did it to the monster?" 

Ian, who heard Balt question, also pondered a little but the truth was he was just acting like that. And was thinking ' just according to Keikaku'. 

Why he reveals his ability was simple, it's to make the walk faster. If they walked at a snail pace he didn't know how many hours were needed to reach the outside so he revealed his ability.

But didn't directly ask all of them since they will be suspicious of his ability that's why he was waiting for Balt to ask the right question which happened.

He pondered for all of them to think that he has a limit so after acting out his pondering face he said.

" Yes, I think I can do it but of course there's a limit to it."

Balt nodded his head in understanding since he knew what he meant and said.

"It's alright if you can do it, let's think about the problem if the limit comes so can you do it?"

"Alright," Ian said obediently.

Ian touched Balt, Sona, and Katherine and say the magic words; "[Weight Changer]"

Feeling the lightness their bodies feel they realize how right Pitt said earlier about Ian. Even though they still feel their exhaustion they now can walk faster with how light their bodies are.

Balt was about to issue the command to start walking again but was interrupted by Lindo who shouted.

"WAIT! What about me? You still didn't cast your ability on me."

Balt frowned being interrupted but didn't say anything, he also looked at Ian waiting for the answer.

Ian looked at Lindo for a minute like he was looking at an Idiot, and said in a sorry voice. 

" Ah!" He exclaimed as he had forgotten about it and said " I'm sorry but my ability was at its limit, I can only use it five times a day so I can't use it anymore." But his face didn't look sorry at all.

Lindo was fuming with anger, 'how dare a porter like you to mock me like this ' he thought. If his other arms were only functional, he would surely blow his head.

He suddenly remembered that Ian only used it four times and said.

"There is still one shot left f*cker. You only use it four times, so do me the last shot or else.." clearly not in a peaceful way.

Sophia frowned when she heard him threatening Ian. She hated it when someone was bullying a weak person, but she didn't say anything since she knew that Ian was not weak.

Balt, Pitt, and Katherine only looked at Ian, they didn't say anything. They were thinking about what Ian will do, is he going to concede it or do something else they were just waiting for the show.

Sophia on the other hand just didn't care, she didn't show any change in her expression. She knows how strong Ian is. She saw how he defeated the Alpha mate, how he subdued it with just a glance and killed it with his pistol that was stronger than the magic sniper Lindo had. So she didn't worry about Ian. She didn't feel pity because she didn't pity those with a stronger ability that only bully those with weaker.

Ian who heard his obvious threat didn't put him in his eye and ignored it. He heard what he said in his left ear but it came out from the right that it didn't linger on his brain.

Ian looks at Lindo like he was seeing a retard that escapes mental hospitals which also exist here in this world but with different names. And said. "Ah! I'm sorry if you didn't know math since I didn't know that you didn't go to school. Let me apologize and explain so you can understand it easily. I first use my ability on the bodies that we were carrying so it's 1. The second was on Pitt that made it 2. And next, it's on Balt, Sona, and Katherine that a total of 3 so 1+1+3 is equal to 5 which made me unable to use my ability."

Ian's explanation was like he was teaching a child who didn't know anything about the addition that made Sona, Katherine, and Pitt laugh.

Balt's face is cramped a little from holding his laugh, he looks so serious that it makes him look funny with how his face looks.

Sophia on the other hand just smiled at how Ian explained it patiently at Lindo that made Lindo's face beet red from rage.

Lindo's complexion was not great. With how pale his face due to exhaustion that becomes beet red from being white due to Ian mockery even without using profanity.

He was so mad that he planned to point the sniper at Ian's head and pushed the trigger right away to kill Ian, but before he could do it he heard Balt voice that made him stop what he was planning. 

"Stop what you're thinking before you regret it. I don't want a member of my party to die due to conflict with each other because it will affect the reputation of the group. If you want to do it, do it outside after I dismiss you." Balt said with a threatening voice. He cares if they killed each other while they are at his party but if they left he didn't care about them anymore.
