New face

The rest of the day went on without any encounter between Ava and Noah. Thanks to Ava who decided not to attend the rest of the class as she was still pissed off by whatever happened during the lunch. But she decided to come back for the last lecture as she wanted to get even with Noah and George.

She walks directly towards Noah and George's seat. George was about to get up but Noah stopped him and eyed him to stay calm.

"You better follow me quietly after the class or I have other ways to make you follow me.", Ava said as she waves her phone in front of them.

Noah did not reply but stared directly into Ava's eyes. Ava stared at him surprisingly and somewhat angrily but Noah did not deviate his gaze.

"You really forget your place too quickly, don't you? Or do you want me to remind you once again because I would love to?", Ava fists the table in front of her.

"It was you who forgot our promise first.", Noah replied in a stern voice.

Ava was a bit taken back. She thought that Noah would be totally shaken by what she did after lunch but to her amazement, Noah became more rigid.

"You.... you don't get to choose. You know that very well. You both..."

"Me. Not both. Me. It was me who was to suffer under your hand not George.", Noah cuts in before Ava could finish her sentence.

"Noah, don't. I am alright... Please, don't get....", George spoke as he tried to stop Noah.

"No. She hurt you. She was not supposed to hurt you. It was supposed to be me and it was the deal that she broke first so, I am not going to submit anymore.", Noah glares at Ava who was shocked by seeing Noah rebel against her.

"I think you are still not getting what situation you are in. It is okay. I would love to break it down to you once again.", Ava grabs Noah's collar. Noah held her hand to free himself just when the teacher entered the class along with someone. Ava pushed Noah back and went to her sea fuming with anger.

"Everyone.", the teacher said to get the attention of the class.

"This is the new student who will be joining our class for this term. Please introduce yourself."

Everyone looked in front to see the new face.

"Hello, guys. This is Katie. Katie Wilson."

"Wilson? You are the principal's relative or something?", one of the students asked.

"Well yeah. I am 'the principal's daughter',", Katie quoted the last words.

"I hope you don't tag that to me because that really is not the main point alright. Well, I came back from London, so not exactly, but this kind of my first time in Yorkshire. I hope to spend a good time. As the teacher already informed you, I will be joining you for the rest of the term. Hope to get along with all of you.", Katie finished her introduction. Some of the students hooted at her which was silenced by the teacher.

Katie had a very charming appearance. She was tall with straight goldeb brown hair and had a really beautiful smile. She looked really cool in faded denim jeans with a half-tucked checkered shirt and folded sleeves.

"Okay, Katie. You can take any seat you like."

Katie nodded and looked around. She got excited to see some familiar faces. She went near Noah and Geroge and took a seat on the row next to it.

So, basically, she was sitting right next to Noah since George never leaves the window seat for his much obvious addiction of staring out of the window to look at the sports field.

"Hey.", Katie waved at Noah. Noah looked at her and smiled softly, but did not say anything.

Noah is not a social person, but somehow he felt comfortable around Katie even though it was their first meeting only.

Ava hardly managed to calm herself down and come back to class only to see Katie and Noah together again. She did not react but had a dark aura around her.

"Allen."

"Yeah."

"What's her deal?"

"Whose?"

"The principal's daughter. Why did she come here and why ... the hell is she trying to be so friendly with.... well, everyone?", Ava gritted her teeth.

"Her? I mean it's her dad's school and that somehow concludes that it's her school as well. So, as to why she is here? Isn't it obvious? Ans well, she seems to have a social nature unlike someone else over here so... there you go.", Allen said in a tone of mockery. He was having fun watching Ava being bothered by Katie's presence.

Even though Ava is his best friend, he wants her to realize what he might end up losing if she keeps up with her ignorance.

Ava was throwing daggers with her eyes. Every time teacher asked anything, Katie would turn to Noah to make her understand as it was her first class. They would laugh, make jokes and Ava was not liking it.

The school bell rang and the students started rushing out.

"Hey, guys. If you don't mind, can you guys show me around? I need to get familiar with the place you see.", Katie turned to Noah and George.

"I..."

"Well, they got plans with us. So, I am sorry, I don't think they will be able to go with you.", Ava cuts in as she puts her arm around Noah. Noah gets uncomfortable under her hold.

"I guess we could show you around.". Noah said as he removes Ava's hand.

"No, you can't. Come on, you promised you will spend time with us and now you are leaving. That's not fair.", Ava said trying to act sad.

"I don't think....", Noah was about to say.

"Oh, I see. It is okay if you have some other plans today. We can go next time then.", Katie cuts in.

"How sweet of you. See, Noah, that is how you keep your promises. By the way, it's your dad's school, isn't it? Why are you not familiar with it?", Ava said mockingly still pretending to be nice.

"Yeah, again with your questioning. I don't see any point in answering all your questions. So....", Katie take her bag.

"It was nice meeting you guys. I hope we get to know each other better. See you later then.", Katie smiles and waves at others who wave back at her. Ava stares at her friends who then lower their gaze.

"So, it's about time you make up for what happened today. Let's go.", Ava takes Noah's arm and drags him out of the class to the parking lot.
