His Hunch

Toma was greatly bothered when Yuji got to the campus earlier than him. It made him doubt that Yuji might have been troubled by something, and it annoyed the hell out of him that he can't figure what it was.

"Haa. I lost interest attending first class." He muttered.

And so he spent most of his time laying on his bed, reminiscing about the cheerful times he had with Yuji. Now that Yuji's gone to school, he never felt this lonely before. He tries to find comfort in every memory he shared with Yuji.

When he got bored of it, he decided to have lunch at his favorite restaurant. But on his way there, he encountered a familiar face, though he wasn't noticed by this other fellow. It was Yuu. One of his acquaintances, though he was mostly ignored by Yuu because he seemed more interested in Yuji.

"Wait…" by that thought, Toma paused completely. He glanced at Yuu who was walking away and had come up with a possible situation in his head.

'That guy… why do I feel like there's a connection between him and Yuji's weird behavior lately?' He had some doubts, but his stupidity won't let him hesitate from his sudden urge to follow Yuu. It was just his hunch that Yuu was the cause of his problems with Yuji, and he thought it was worth the shot since he was bored staying indoors.

While he continues to follow Yuu, he finds nothing strange but was still eager to follow him. Toma was suspicious, though it was possible that he's doing it out of boredom. Just when he feel like giving up on his hunch, his suspicions ignite again as Yuu approaches Yuji.

"What the!? Why is he bothering Yuji?" He tries to get closer but since it was the end of classes, a swarm of students keeps pushing him further away from the two until he lost them.

Toma began to search anywhere just to know what's happening between Yuu and Yuji.

'It can't be… it's not true! Yuji can't be cheating on me! T-That must be something else.' Despite the wrong conclusion, he believes that there must be something else happening between the two. Though judging from his thoughts, he's knows it's one of the possible thing happening between Yuu and Yuji.

He keep on searching, not letting a second go to waste. And as the time pass more and more, his anxiousness worsens. "Just where the hell are they?!"

Before he passes by the narrow alley, Yuu suddenly pops out, startling him out of his wits. His eyes stares at him for a minute and shifts behind the guy and saw Yuji beaten up.

'So it wasn't a case of cheating…' but why do he feel that it could've been better that way? Maybe because he can't bear the sight of seeing the one he loves in such state. When Yuu attempted to escape, Toma was quick enough to respond and caught him.

"You bastard!"

"Ahh!! Help!" Yuu struggled to escape him but he won't let go easily.

"What have you done to Yuji!" Toma was furious than ever. He raged on and battered Yuu until he was satisfied. When Yuu passed out, Toma immediately went to Yuji's side. He instantly regretted deciding to skip classes today, he should've kept an eye on Yuji.
