Caught, Part 1

"…Yuji." Toma muttered while he was sitting on a chair near Yuji's bed. When Yuji was admitted to the hospital, he stayed beside him the whole time after he settled things with Yuu at the police station. He also informed Yuji's dad about the situation because he needed extra hands on this.

Toma can't keep his eyes off Yuji's broken hands. It pains him to see that it was wrapped in thick bandages because the doctor told him that every bone in his hands were broken into bits. This would mean that Yuji won't be able to use his hands anymore, he can imagine how devastated Yuji will be when he finds out about his hand.

'That damn Yuu. I'll get him for this.' He suddenly wished he beaten up Yuu just as bad as how Yuji was beaten—no, he wanted to double the pain, because aside from Yuji he was also hurt to see the one he love like this.

There was not a minute that he stopped regretting about skipping classes that time. If only he had been by his side, this never must have happened.

Suddenly, a loud noise was heard near the room's door. When Toma looks to who it was, Yuji's father was already there with the door wide open. "Yujiro!" He was extremely worried and pale as he saw his son in such state.

Toma assisted the old man because he looked like he's almost going to faint over this. "W-Who in the world!?… what have my son ever done to those people!? Why did they have to do this!?"

Lumps formed in Toma's throat, not letting him answer those questions. He held back the tears as he quietly stood by the old man's side. Even if can talk, he doesn't have any clue on about why Yuu did it. Though the police has promise to do some thorough investigating.

As the calmed down, Yuji's father began to discuss his plans for Yuji. "Will it be alright if I ask you a favor?"

"It's okay uncle. I'll do anything for Yuji."

"Thank you, Toma. I'll leave Yuji in your care, and for the meantime, I'll handle things with the person who did this to my son."

"Please be careful."

"I will."

He felt relieved with that arrangement. Toma doesn't want to get separated from Yuji, so he think it was lucky that he gets to keep an eye on his lover.

And when Yuji's father have to leave, he still stayed, not planning to go back just yet. He really waited for Yuji to open his eyes, however he was informed that it was unlikely for him to regain consciousness this soon.

"I suggest that you come back tomorrow, you look like you need some rest." The doctor commented.

"Hm, I guess I should. Then I'll be back here by tomorrow." He nods to himself.

Even though he feels like he doesn't want to go, he can't disagree with the doctor since he thinks he needs to get some bath. And as he gets back, he can't sleep well as he kept worrying about Yuji waking up.
