Caught, Part 2

As the sun rises, Toma immediately went to the hospital for Yuji. He hopes to see him conscious when he arrives, though it was unfortunate that he found Yuji still sleeping. He also discovered something worse, his worries on Yuji has double.

Toma quickly calls for help and as the doctor arrived, things were explained to him. "…we have seen this through our observation on the patient last night. These tiny red spots you see on his skin is called petechiea. It's a symptom for many diseases. We're currently testing from which disease it comes from."

"How come I was not told about this!? I—" the doctor cuts him off before he could throw a fit.

"We have already informed his father sir. We thought you must have been informed through him."

Toma was stunned to know that Yuji's father didn't told him anything. He should've atleast called last night. Toma shakes his head as he thought that maybe Yuji's father didn't want to disturb him in his sleep last night.

"I-I see… alright."

The doctor left after excusing himself. Toma continued to look over Yuji and kept hoping for him to wake up. While the time pass, Yuji's father arrived. When they got eye to eye, Toma felt a little chill from the eyes staring back at him. "Good afternoon uncle." He greeted.

"…I can't see any good in this afternoon." The cold response shocked Toma. Usually, Yuji's father would just give a little smile whenever he greets him.

"Are you alright uncle?" His question was ignored as Yuji's father gazes on his only son.

"He's really taking his sweet time sleeping."

"Y-Yeah, I hope he wakes up soon."

"Looking at him like this reminds me of his mother."

"Uncle…"

"You can stop calling me that." Toma got cold feet as Yuji's father said it.

And when he approached Toma, he gave him a small envelope. "Go ahead, open it."

Toma hesitated with the suggestion. He was completely frozen while looking at the envelop. He was both curios and afraid of what it contains. "Do I have to repeat myself?" It got Toma startled when he spoke again, so he had himself opening it.

The envelope was carrying one printed photo of something that Toma never suspected. Words can't explain how he felt while he's looking at that photo. Yuji's father continued to talk regarding the photo.

"From the investigation, the police found that thing from the suspect. The damn bastard was using it against my son."

"…" Toma was too speechless at the moment. His thoughts were in a chaos, and he was too afraid to look at him in the eye.

"I will never forgive you for doing such nasty things on my son. You are unforgivable!" Toma got punched as the father revealed he knew it all along.

He didn't resist any of the hits from the old man. He was guilty, and he knows that everything between him and Yuji are over. Before he was kicked out of the room, he stole one glance of the unconscious Yuji.
