OUR DESTINY

As The masked people took of their masks and turned out to be their friends the girls were both overjoyed and confused.

They rushed over and hugged David and Etim but when they tried to move closer to jewel to give her a hug she backed away.

"Oh my gosh we have missed you so much, your family has been devastated since you left and the town just hasn't been the same" D.F said close to tears.

"How did you guys even get here anyway?" Hailey asked in disbelief.

"The same way you did" David replied.

"Then why didn't you come back?” Rebby asked.

"They couldn't come back because the portal won't open again until they help us defeat tenebras" Queen Tamara answered before the Etim could speak.

"Wait Wait Wait... So what you are saying is we can't go back home until we help you defeat some evil planet?" Cally asked obviously annoyed.

"Yes that is correct but now that the five of you are here together you can finally help us defeat tenebras” Queen Tamara answered.

"Um no.... I’m going home and I’m going home now" Hailey said persistently.

"Hailey the Queen just told you it is impossible until tenebras is destroyed" jewel answered coldly.

"So what you expect me to just stay here a billion miles from home ?"Hailey retarded.

"Hailey is right we can't just stay here" Cally replied.

"But we can't leave either" Rebby Said rationally.

"That is right rebby, so the sooner you take down tenebras the faster you go home" Queen Tamara said.

"Wait how are we even gonna do that I mean we can't fight... We are just normal teenage girls"said D.F.

"Oh no my dear see that is where you are wrong" Queen Tamara says “each of you have your own special abilities and talents but you all have to work together and trust one another to unlock them".

"What... so you mean we have like super powers?" Hailey asks sarcastically.

"As a matter of fact that is kind of what I’m saying you all have abilities or as Hailey put it superpowers" Queen Tamara said smiling.

"Woah" D.F exclaimed examining her hands "so I can like shoot webs from my hands or something"

"No... not that but your powers are also really great" Queen Tamara says "now girls get some sleep you have had a long journey am sure you're tired"

"You can say that again" Cally says yawning.

"The boys will take you to your rooms meanwhile Jewel Can you stay back I have to talk to you" Queen Tamara says casting Jewel a concerned glance.

"Yes your majesty" she replies not looking up.

"Now your training will Start soon in the meantime is there any other thing you want to ask of me" she says.

"Oh yes one last thing the girls and I will feel much more comfortable if we were sharing a room do you think you can do that for us?" Hailey says.

"Of course"the Queen replies them turns to her hand maid who hadn't said a word the whole time "Kat could you tell the servants to prepare a room for the four of them to sleep in"

"Right away your highness" she replies in a low voice and walks out with Etim's eyes slowly following her. It was obvious he had a cute little fondness for her.

"Okay then if that is all boys take them to their rooms" she commanded and the boys led them out of the room.

But jewel stayed behind.

"Yes your highness” she said impatient.

"Yes that is right, I only wanted to tell you to not be too detached from the girls. If you girls do not work together you will never truly unlock your abilities" she stopped and looked at jewel who hadn't said anything then continued "I know that you don't work well with teams but they are not strangers they are your best friends and this is important. So promise you will try your best to be good to them okay?"

"Yes your highness, may I leave now"she said.

The Queen let out a sigh before saying "of course".

Jewel gave a slight bow before leaving.

The girls were getting settled into their beds now and D.F said "wow I can't believe any of this is real, I mean we are on another freaking planet this sounds like something from a fantasy novel”

"I know right" Cally said walking around the room.

Their was a light knock on the door and David stuck his head in and said "so I thought you might be feeling a little home sick so I brought you something that might remind you of earth"

He opened the door wider and a dog ran in.

"Oh my god he is so cute" D.F said as they all rushed to pet the dog.

"I know I just wanna eat him up" rebby said in a cute voice "yes I do oh yes I do I just wanna eat your weetle face"

"Well you better not" the dog said in a British accent.

The girls screamed when they heard the voice.

"Girls meet dodo" David said.

"Oh it talks" rebby said “I’ve seen so many crazy things today that that isn’t even creepy”

“And besides I’m too cute to be brutish” dodo said

"A dog with a British accent because why not right?" Hailey said not surprised.

"Well I'll leave you guys to sleep" David Said leaving.

"Good night David" they chorused.

"Good night girls" he replied shut the door and left.

Hailey said to dodo “so Apart from talking what else can you do?"

"Well am a robot dog so I have basic knowledge of the entire planet and I’m like a walking computer I can work as a projector, I can hack a system, I can even play you music, I’m also equipped for battle but that’s as a worst case scenario " he replied.

"Cool cool, so if you're as smart as you say you are then what does this button do?" Cally said pointing at a button on a console on the wall.

"That cally is the all you can eat button. You simply press and it then say what you want to eat and it will come out of that shoot over there" dodo answered.

"Woah cool” she walked over to it and pressed the button and said “I want fries" and the fries were came out of the shoot.

"Woah what about this one” D.F said pointing at another button.

Dodo replied “oh that one is the movie projector it has over a million channels you just say which one you want"

D.F tapped on it and the whole room went dark and a movie started playing on the wall. It was a romantic comedy.

"Woah that is sick"rebby said.

"Yeah this place has some serious tech" Cally said eyeing the room.

"Indeed lucem has more technology than the human race will ever be able to comprehend for the next thousands of years'' Dodo said with a hint of pride in his voice “and those aren't anything compared to the rest of the advancement in lucem".

"Woah life here must be easy" D.F said pushing a button on he chair to make it recline.

"Yes it was until tenebras started again" dodo said then quickly changed the topic "soon you will be given flash watches"

"Flash watches?what are those?"

Hailey asked.

"They are like smart watches but smarter... They can project holograms, ask for help from all over the galaxy and can process data a thousand times faster and more efficiently than a computer"

"Woah I can't wait to get one" Rebby Said enthusiastically.

"I don't know about you guys but I’m tired" Cally said letting out a yawn.

"Yeah me too" D.F said yawning too.

"Well would you like to sleep under the stars?" Dodo asked.

"Oh you mean like outside?nooooo....thank you" rebby said smiling.

"Oh no I mean under the Stars"

Dodo repeated.

"I don’t understand you” Cally asked confused.

"Hailey be a dear and push that button next to you" dodo asked sweetly.

Hailey turned to the panel next to her

and pushed the button and immediately the roof opened and they were gazing at the stars.

"Woah this is breathtaking" Cally said.

"I could stare at this all night" D.F added.

Jewel who had been standing by the door listening finally turned to leave but was shocked to see David standing behind her.

"What are you doing here"she asked dragging him away from the door but keeping her face neutral.

David looked at her face and wondered how it must feel having emotions but not being able to show it outwardly, she must really be suffering on the inside.

He was snapped out of his thought when Jewel finally let him go.

"Well I should be asking you the same thing seeing as you were the one spying on the girls" David remarked raising his eyebrows.

"I was just checking to see what they were doing... And besides I don't have to explain myself to you" she said and with that started walking away.

David yelled out as she was walking away "I know you care about them" jewel stopped for a while then kept on walking so David continued "you just have to learn to show it... I believe in you and am sure the girls do too they will help you just explain to them and give them a chance"

By the time he was done jewel was gone. She didn't want to hear anyone talk about it.

She knew she had a problem and she had to tell her friends so they can help her but how exactly do you tell the only remaining people in the world you care about that you are a monster incapable of showing emotions.

She hurried into the elevator/teleporter and went to her favorite place.

The only place were she felt she was understood THE SOLITARY ROOM.

She sat down and thought about what next to do because she had to tell her friends the truth at some point.

But the question was what would they think.
