Noble Takedown

Pfyre flies back down to fight the other Gems and that noble that is suspected to be their leader. Coming from the city, the royal army of the knights of Zlatan approaches. In front, leading them, is a man in brown full plate armor with a cape in a darker shade of brown, alongside the knight is a girl wearing no armor. She's smaller than the knight next to her, and she has light blue hair. On the other side coming from the desert is the second platoon of Hollow Arthas, led by none other, Zabre.

The rest of the Assassins of Dusk arrived. Ravenna, Domotraus, Sephsevel, and Razz. All four of them were panting, out of breath.

"What happened?" I asked

"Nothing much, the fog felt delayed for a bit and we noticed you disappeared. So we all just agreed to think of getting transported to wherever you are" Ravenna answered

"That's sweet" I teased

"Is not! Why did you have to be in the middle of the Gem of Rider's army? Thankfully we sneaked our way out while everyone's attention was at you and Pfyre" Seph said

Domotraus sat down on the floor, along with Razz, exhausted.

"What got you guys tired all of a sudden?" I asked

"A weird worm like giant creature appeared from the desert when we tried to teleport. We were able to avoid getting eaten, but we had to fight it. Afterwards, we appeared in the middle of an enemy army and we attempted to sneak out, which failed until we summoned Seph's fire boy" Razz explained

"Ah, so you guys had your fair share of difficulties. I appeared here alone and I saw that the Gems were coming this way, I immediately set up traps with whatever I found" I replied

"That explains the unconscious guards downstairs, thought you knocked them out" Seph said

"They were already knocked out the moment I came in" I said "Anyways, never mind that. Not sure if I've told you this but Naxel is alive. Also, the reason I was in the middle of the enemy army was because a noble I found during the party days ago was there. The one Pfyre fought with before bringing me up here"

"Seriously? A noble helping out the Gems? That's pretty messed up" Razz said

I took a look at what was happening, and the two armies are already in a clash with the Gem of Rider. Pfyre was still fighting them down there. Their noble leader was nowhere to be found. I kept looking around hoping I'd find him somewhere in the battlefield. Pfyre let out a smokescreen and flew up towards us.

"Hey, seems like you're all here! Perfect, I'll be returning now Seph" Pfyre said

"Wait hold on!" I said "Where's the noble guy you were fighting earlier before you brought me up here?"

"Oh, that guy fled the battle. He should be somewhere in the battle or he's running out" Pfyre answered then turns back into the dragon stone I had given Sephsevel.

"Well... bummer. I guess he was a coward who couldn't fight alongside his army" I said "You guys ready? We're gonna find this guy and assassinate him, like the times when we assassinated our targets"

Razz and Domotraus both stood up immediately. Taking out their weapons showing it off.

"Huh? Assassination? Easy! I'm taking the guy down easily" Domotraus said

"Hey hey hey, don't get ahead of yourself Dom, I'm gonna swipe his head off the moment I see him" Razz said

With both of them fired up and somehow motivated to take down the guy, this should be something easy to do. The noble may have magic, but there's five of us now. Sephsevel and Ravenna nod in agreement in taking down the guy down right away.

"Do you guys have any spells that can track him down?" I asked

"Similar to Lucas, I can use a Mind Detection spell to find where he is, but I have a specific range as to how far I can detect the minds of others" Seph says

"Since when could you do that?" Ravenna asked

"Quite a long time. It's a dark elf thing" Seph answered

"Great. Then let's have Pfyre carry you while he flies around, can you summon him again?" I asked

"No need for that you guys, I can see him right now..." Domotraus pointed towards the direction of the enemy army

I continue looking around, but can't seem to find him. Perhaps Domotraus is using something to detect invisibility, but I don't recall him possessing magic.

"Where is he? I can't find him" I said

"He's the one... in black... running really really fast through the army on Hollow Arthas side, but seems to be running away in a straight path" Domotraus said pointing to the direction of where he sees him.

I take a look at where he's pointing, and I see a small black figure running. I look back to the others and gestured to them to follow me. I ran on the arch of the gate, and on the walls to where the direction of the noble. Ravenna, Sephsevel, Razz, and Domotraus were following behind me. Domotraus passed over me, followed by Razz.

"We'll take lead from here. We're taking him down first" Razz says

Not on my watch. I'm going to make the first hit on the guy. My hand lit up, and I felt energy soaring through my body. I started running faster and faster. I eventually passed by both Domotraus and Razz. I even passed by the noble and jumped down the wall. Making a free fall, I used my short sword and stuck it on the wall. Using my strength potion still in effect, the sword was in. I didn't put it deep, but enough to help slow my fall. I looked back and saw Domotraus holding a rope while Razz was making a wall run, holding onto the rope. Ravenna and Sephsevel were far behind. The noble got out of his army and noticed us trying to reach him. He started running away. I glanced towards the army and saw Zabre's lightning crackling out of control. He was also chasing down the noble, until he saw us. He then went back to fight the Gem of Riders with his army. Razz landed down firs, followed by me. I looked back up and a dagger was stuck on the rope attached to the wall. Domotraus was also climbing down followed by both Ravenna and Sephsevel. Razz passed by me as he landed, and I eventually passed by him running after landing. The noble stopped and faced us.

"Tired of running?" Razz asked

"You don't take out pests by running, you take them out by killing them yourself" the noble replies

"Answer me, weak noble. Why do you insist in killing the king and attacking Zlatan?" I asked

"Why should I answer? What's in it for me?" the noble replies

The rest of the group finally reached us. We stood side by side facing the noble.

"So this is their leader? Not what I had expected honestly" Sephsevel said

"Seems like I get to kill all five of you at the same time. How lucky I must be" the noble said

"Actually, how lucky we must be to be able to take you down right here, right now" Razz said

Razz dashes towards the noble with his long sword attempting to slash him, making the first strike.
