"Jean !

Do whatever it takes to help these people out !

I will manage and get more donors to come to their aid !

Just go ahead with the necessary proceedings !"Ben said to Jean .

"What a bad morning it is ! I can't believe this ,the flood has destroyed everything that these poor people have and it has become our major responsibility to help them out !

Too bad !"Corazon said furrowing her brows .

"So what are you going to do now ,Ben?"She asked patting his shoulders .

"Don't worry Corazon ! I will see what I'm going to do about it !"He said calmly and just then ,Liza descended the stairs with a knowing glare at both of them .

"Liza ,are you going out ?"Corazon asked when she knew how obvious it was .

"Yes mummy ,I am !"She answered bluntly.

"Your dad told me that your car broke down so I would suggest you use mine in case you don't mind !"Corazon suggested .

"Don't worry mummy ! I will call a cab !"Liza added swiftly.

"There's no need my dear ,these are keys to your new car which has been nicely parked in the garage !"Ben handed over the keys to her and she smiled ambivalently.

"Wow dad !

So fast ,thank you !"She hugged him . "But what happened to the old car ?"Corazon asked .

"It has been sold so there is no need to worry about it !"He answered simply .

"Get up buddy ,do you think the day is yours ?!"Klara patted Clinton's shoulders painfully.

"Klara ! Why did you wake me up so early in morning ?

What's your problem?!"Clinton asked with a sharp grimace at her .

"Oh please !

Don't look at me with that facial distortion !

I just woke you up from your bed and you're angry over that?!

My goodness !"Klara said .

"Can't you see my head is throbbing because you woke me up ,huh?!

Why did you even wake me up in the first place ?!"Clinton asked with an annoying tone .

"Tsk! Tsk!!

I really wished I didn't have to wake you up honestly but I had no choice !

It's half past eight in the morning for God's sake , and you must attend to an issue of importance !

So many people have been affected by the heavy rains from yesterday and as a result lives and properties have been destroyed because of this flood !"Klara announced but it didn't have any effects on Clinton instead he bursted out into laughter .

"So ?!

So ?! So what ?!

So what if people have been affected by the floods ,so ?!

How does that concern me, Klara ?! For goodness sake , I'm an attorney not a meteorologist who determines the weather condition to know when it will rain or not and as to whether floods will occur or not !

Unbelievable! You woke me up to tell me this nonsense ,huh?!

Was I the one who told those poor people to be poor ,huh?!

Did I tell them to live in slums and unplanned areas ?!

If they had agreed to demolish those houses in the water path and create rooms for running water to pass ,they wouldn't have been where they are today ;in flood !

Do I work with the disaster committee?!

Good heavens , I've got dad to thank for this ; for living a better life !

Those people always have a way of figuring things out !

If they ever listened to the town planner then their house wouldn't have been affected by floods but they never listened ...!

See the results and now I'm paying for it because you disrupted my good sleep !"Clinton angrily lashed out on Klara who was standing there with unbelievable eyes .

Angrily ,she stripped the bedspread off from him to the floor and pulled his earlobes hardly.

"Buddy ,when will you reason ?! When ?!

Your parents are donating to help these victims out and you must do same !

I'm also getting involved which means I'm not going without you !

So get up and get dressed and let's go before I whoop your lazy crazy **s off !"Klara pulled him from the bed onto his couch .

"Really Klara ,really ?!

What benefit will I get from this ,Klara ?

Tell me ..!"Clinton stood up from his couch with a burning grimace on his face but Klara didn't just care about that .

"You will get time to spend with your love !

She's highly getting involved in the issue as well !

She wants to help these people out at any cost !

She has zero knowledge just like you about charity services and donations but she's putting in all her efforts to help the victims out !

Jean told me about it so I think it's a great opportunity to get closer to her !Who knows ?

Maybe ,this charity service will bring you two together !

Just get active and prove to her that you equally care !

"Hmm! Tactically you're right ! Now at least smile for me ..!"Clinton looked at her amorously .

"Alright !"Klara smiled ambivalently at him.

"You're simply the best sister in the whole world !"Clinton flattered .

"Oh come on buddy ,you owe me for this favour so stop flattering me !"Klara added .

"I know that very well and when the time comes for me to return your favours ,I won't hesitate to do so !"Clinton also added .

"Stop messing around and get ready ,we will be leaving in thirty minutes time .I will be downstairs waiting !"Klara said and exited the room .

Downstairs,Hazel was busy packing up some staff .

"Hazel ,are you sure you want to get involved in this ?"Marcial asked worriedly.

"Oh come on Marcial ! It was what I used to do before I died , remember ? I have resurrected so I'm going back to work !

Those people need help and only the government's help won't be enough !Individual personalities who have wealth like us should also support !

This is our duty to our various cities so you can't stop me from engaging myself in it !

Don't worry , I'd be fine !"Hazel affirmed .

"Aunt is absolutely right uncle ,we will need her help !"Klara added when she stepped downstairs.

"Klara ! Come and give me a hug !

I didn't know you're home already !"Hazel said .

"Aunt ,I returned yesterday night but you and uncle were fast asleep and I didn't want to wake you up !"She added hugging Hazel's shoulders .

"I'm happy you're alright dear and besides I'm so impressed with how you're handling our businesses overseas!

Since you're here , I guess you're coming along to make the donations to the victims of the flood right ?"Marcial asked calmly .

"Yeah uncle !

I'm all set to go with you !"Klara happily said .

"She's not the only one coming along with you dad ,I am too !

Your one and only son ..!"Clinton said sarcastically.

"Sorry ,I messed up but I 'm willing to fix my mess !

Dad ,we shouldn't argue about the past but focus on the present so I hope you are not angry at me anymore ,right!

Sorry ..!"Clinton said with a remorseful facial expression .

"Marcial !

He said he's sorry so there's no need to be angry at him anymore !"Hazel added .

"Alright then ,"man to man" , we have settled every issue between us !"Marcial said hugging him tightly.

"Liza,are you sure of this ?"Ben asked worriedly as Liza wanted to get involved in their charity works .

"Dad ,just trust me instead of treating me like a kid !

I know I'm a novice as to how charity services operate but just trust me ,I will do well helping you guys out .I will produce nothing if I'm indoors so please understand !"Liza said with a complete affirmative tone.

"Uncle Ben ,Liza is right ! Attorneys like us may not have any ideas about how charity businesses run but we have special skills in settling cases !

The only difference is that ,this is not an issue in the court but if we are allowed to get involved ,then we will produce good results!"Clinton said from behind once he arrived with his parents and Klara at the Carson's Mansion .

His voice sending chills down Liza's spine however ,she looked at him with an annoying glare and quickly hopped to stand beside her mother .

"Did he have to be here ?"Liza muttered to herself while Corazon smiled at her .

"Alright then ,I'm not stopping anyone from helping !

Since you are all poised with helping out ,I would like you to bring your ideas so that we diffuse them into helping these people !"Ben suggested before they all took a seat .

"Dad ,Jean told me you have ten donors and I was thinking to get more donors to support these victims !"Liza said .

"But dear ,how are you going to do that ?"Hazel asked ,picking up a blueberry from the fruit basket and taking a bite of it .

"Umm!

Aunt Hazel ,you don't need to worry .I will definitely arrange for something !Just trust me aunt !"Liza added .

"Just trust us mum ,we will both arrange for something !

Liza and I will handle the donors so you can all proceed with the available materials from the donors you have !"Clinton chipped himself into the conversation and gave Liza an ogling smile .

For a moment ,Clinton was very annoying but his idea of working together wasn't bad for Liza either .

"You can do something else Clinton !"Liza said ,furrowing her brows at him .

"Wow ! Impressive !

Superwoman!

I'm with you in this ..!"Clinton sarcastically added but before Liza could reply ,Jean cut them short .

"Enough please !

Love birds ,you can fight later on and end up in the bedroom ,no one cares but not now !

So are you in this together or not ?!"Jean asked narrowing her gaze at both of them .

"Well ! I have no problem !

You should ask your niece !"Clinton said ogling at Liza again .

"Alright ,Clinton and I will take care of finding you more donors so I suggest you all move to the crime scene and see what can be done !"Liza added .

"That's more of an attorney speaking than a business woman ...!"Clinton sarcastically said to get Liza's attention.

"Oh really ? I can't believe I'm going to work with you because you are simply unbearable !

I wonder why I created the mess of myself by working with you !"Liza retaliated .
