Carl, an ex-cop is tired of the faltering judicial system, letting criminals go with a mere slap on the wrist. He decides to take matters into his own hands and rid the city of its undesirables once and for all.

Justice Best Served Cold

Carl hears a conversation in the distance. Ignoring the noise, he continues towards Millie and his mom. A strong current surges through Carl's body. There's chatter then he feels the sensation again. He then feels air going into his lungs. 


Millie lowers her hand to her side. His family slowly walks away. 


With a confused expression on his face, Carly quickly blurts out. "Where is everyone going?" 


Millie's sweet voice tearfully says, "You still have work to do, my love." 


A flow course through Carl's body again. His spirit being pulled towards his body. He glances up to find his wife, the light and music slowly fading away. "I don't wanna go back, I don't wanna," he cries. He tries to run towards them, but an invisible force pulls him back. His body jolts. His eyes fly open; he gasps for air. He turns his head to the side and finds an officer beside him.
