VISITING THE CAFE

The next morning, Adam was indeed cooking their food, making her bento and making sure that she gets to eat healthy and delicious food.

Hana didn't make a fuss about it and just ate. She didn't take so much of her time and went to work. She even had to turn back multiple times to make sure that her brother wasn't following her.

"Morning boss!" Hana greeted Jacob happily and handed him a gift. It wasn't anything expensive but just a bunch of chocolates.

Jacob looked at her and reached for the gift bag. "Why are you giving me a gift? It is not Christmas nor my birthday. Are you courting me?"

Hana choked on her own saliva when she heard his casual and sharp response. She didn't even know if he was serious or joking because his face was devoid of emotions.

Sly and cheeky as she was, she winked at her boss and turned as she said, "I didn't know that boss could see my intention."

Jacob stiffened and watched her disappearing back in confusion. 'Was I made fun by my employee?'

Nonetheless, he gladly received the gift bag and placed it on his personal locker. He didn't know that it was from Adam's souvenir at all.

On the other hand, the employees locker room was rather merry and boisterous. Hana shared them the snacks she brought and handed Lily a pink shopping bag.

"That's for you." Hana stated with a smile. "Among all the clothes he bought, this single dress won't fit me and Adam told me to give this to you."

Lily's heart was beating like crazy and she could feel her face blushing from the mere thought of getting a gift from him.

"Say my thanks to him." Lily murmured and put the bag inside her locker.

"Oh! You met Hana's brother yesterday?" one of their colleagues asked.

"Hn. He came to pick up Hana and gave me a lift back to the dorm." Lily responded cheerfully.

"What does he look like?" another female staff asked her.

Lily blinked her eyes at them and pushed them a little away from her. "Why are you guys asking me? You should ask his sister."

Hana knew they'd be curious so she opened her phone and showed them her brother's picture.

"He is handsome."

"You looked so good together."

Hana snorted and had a proud smile. "Of course we look good together. A beautiful woman like me and a handsome man like him is a perfect match of siblings."

Her colleagues continued to ogle on her brother's photo and even asked for a copy but Hana refused it.

After they all changed into their uniforms, Jacob opened the cafe and they started to do their work.

Hana was busy taking orders and on the first floor while Lily wiped the tables every after use of the customer. She sanitized them and made sure to arrange the menu and flower vase accordingly.

Unexpectedly, while she wiped the table that the customer just used not long ago, Adam came in and sat on a couch.

"Ad -hmm..nm."

"Shh!" Adam covered her mouth immediately and signaled her to keep quiet. "Don't let her know that I am here."

Lily nodded her head and gave him an 'okay' sign to seal her cooperation. She cleaned his table and turned around to leave him alone but Adam reached out for her hand took hold of it.

She felt like her heart was going to burst as she looked down on their hands. Adam let her go immediately as if he was burnt from her touch.

"Sorry, it was rude of me." Adam apologized. He wasn't raised to become a playboy and he didn't have any intention to become one. His heart can only allow one person to occupy it and that was his 'sister' in this life.

"It's fine. Do you need anything?" Lily asked in whisper while covering him out of Hana's line of vision.

"Can you get your best-selling dessert and drink?"

"Sure sure." Lily gave him a light bow and left him alone to get his order.

Adam didn't disguise himself at all but he picked the magazine from the table and opened it to cover his face. He was secretly observing his sister and at the same time, looking around to find Jacob.

No matter how many times they reincarnate, he would still know them. And he spotted Jacob at the back of the counter, making a latte for one of the customer's who ordered it.

"I thought the Emperor hated him. Why does he look handsome?" Adam mumbled while looking at Jacob.

Before they were banished to the mortal world, Jacob was the Water God. He can manipulate any forms of water and use it according to his bidding. Aside from being talented, he was also handsome that many princesses wanted to marry him. Fortunately or unfortunately, he fell in love with the Hana, the Emperor's daughter.

"I really want to give him a punch and wake him up." Adam stated.

"Who do you want to punch?"

His back stiffened and he slowly turn his head around to see his pretty little sister glaring at him. "Hi."

Hana flicked his forehead and grabbed the magazine from him. "Would you like to elaborate your plan, MY DEAR BROTHER?" Her smile was chilly but Adam didn't care at all. He pulled the magazine back but Hana refused to hand it over.

They were tugging the magazine between them until it was ripped apart. The sound was clear and the customers looked over towards them.

"You are so dead, Adam." Hana glared at him, slamming the torn magazine down on the table. "I will really kick..Ah shit!"

Adam pulled his handkerchief and covered her face immediately. "Sorry." he uttered guiltily.

"Wait for me at home! I will settle our score." Hana threatened and ran towards the comfort room, leaving everyone confused and dumbfounded.

'Wait for me at home? They're living together?' Jacob couldn't help but wonder in surprise. He looked towards Adam who was sitting on the couch before shifting his gaze to the direction where Hana ran off to. 'Are they having an LQ?'
