In the afternoon, Oliver quietly returned back to the country and straightly went to the company. Although it was Sunday but the office was open and few employees were there doing overtime in a relaxed mood.

His sudden appearance shocked his employees. Of course, they didn't expect the boss to come back ahead of time, so the relaxed atmosphere at the office was gone. When you work under Oliver Knight, you were not allowed to make any mistakes. He was a man with a strong demeanor and a terrible temper.

"CEO Knight, people are looking at the land, they understood if they buy and develop it right now it will not bring much profit but in two to three years it will be a valuable asset." Uncle Joe took a confidential business document file and sat opposite to Oliver.

"Who is competing against us?" Oliver asked squinting his eyes.

He had his eyes on this land for a while now. No one was allowed to steal it from him. He knew the value of it and also was aware that many people wanted it. A few days ago, he even had a meeting with the vice mayor regarding this land, but the price he offered was too high, so Oliver didn't agree at that time.

"Smith's Group, it is said that John Smith has been seen several times at the municipal government office in the past two days." There was a sneer on Uncle Joe's expressionless face.

"Last time Robert Wills (vice mayor) offered 800 million to me for this land," Oliver said with a sneer.

"Looks like he has got a big appetite, that piece of land is hardly 300 million." Uncle Joe said shaking his head.

"Yes, I know, that's why I didn't agree to him. Uncle Joe, keep an eye on this Robert Wills for me, If he dared to play any game make sure he doesn't get to sit at the vice mayor's chair again. This piece of land is mine anyone dared to touch it, I will make sure they not only lose that land but also lose everything they have." Oliver's face looked really cruel at that moment. No one messes with Oliver Knight.

"Will do." Uncle Joe sort out the documents in front of him and thought 'The land seems to be barren now, but in three to five years, it will surely become one of the most prosperous commercial areas in the city.

Smith's group has been doing business in this city for generations, they were also very prominent and well know in the business world. John Smith was only five years older than Conner Knight. Smith's group and Knight International have no business with each other, so even though John Smith was known as a ruthless man in the market, their interpersonal relationship was very good. It's just this piece of land was probably going to cause trouble between the two prominent businessmen, if he didn't back down.

"But CEO Knight, why did you come back so early from the business trip?" Uncle Joe said with a playful smile on his lips.

Oliver gave him a sidelong glance and said, "Because I'm efficient."

Cough... Cough "Sure, Sure CEO Knight is very efficient. Everyone knows that he worked day and night overseas, so he could finish his 7 days trip in 4 and come back home to the beauty." Uncle Joe said mockingly.

"What are you talking about? You think she is that important to me? She is just a toy for me." Cold words spilled out of his mouth, as Oliver looked at the document in front of him.

"Are you sure?" Uncle Joe asked sarcastically.

"Stop talking nonsense and go back to work or I will deduct your salary." Oliver's eyes brightened as he threw the file in front of him at Uncle Joe.

Uncle Joe caught it and said with a smile, "CEO Knight, Mr. O'Neill arranged a barbecue party at his house in the evening and you are invited there."

"All right." He answered indifferently and got back to work.

At Night, O'Neill family mansion.

The greatest pleasure of Arvin O'Neill's life was to hold parties. He was a playful sunny boy who liked to be surrounded by beauties all the time and wouldn't miss any chance to throw a party.

The moment Oliver stepped inside the mansion the loud music deafen his ear. He saw Arvin and head toward him with a smile on his face.

Oliver and Arvin were childhood buddy's who knew each other since primary school They grew up together and almost knew everything about each other.

"How come you threw a party at your house?" Oliver held up his glass and touched it lightly with Arvin's, making a clinking sound.

"Why couldn't I? I'm celebrating." Arvin's handsome face was filled with a cynical smile.

"Where are your parents?" Oliver asked casually.

"Taking a tour around the world."

"No wonder you had the nerve to mess around at home." Oliver laughed.

"Oliver, I invited your girlfriend here today and asked her to accompany you. Here is the key to the room upstairs." Arvin turned around and said with an evil smile on his face and throw a set of keys to Oliver, he caught it reflexively.

"My girlfriend? Since when do I have a girlfriend?" Oliver's had an unrestrained ruffian smile on his face. He was single ok!

However when Arvin mentioned the word 'girlfriend', Oliver's mind unexpectedly flew to Ava's beautiful face. These four days, when he was abroad he couldn't see her so he asked the people who he appointed to keep an eye on her to send her pictures to him every day. He would look at them every night before going to bed.

Uncle Joe, who was behind Oliver, smiled unfathomably. 'He was such a boring and coquettish master.' He thought to himself.

"Don't try to hide it from me you kid. You think I don't know about you and Kiara?" Arvin rolled his eyes and said with a cunning smile.

"What are you talking about, she is a friend, not a girlfriend," Oliver said it seriously.

"You're saying you haven't taken her yet. Oliver! You know it's not really good to be abstinent for a long time." Arvin said with a wicked smile.

Oliver looked at Arvin and said coldly, "it's better than your excessive lust."

Arvin just smiled but didn't explain.

"Oliver, Arvin!" Erika shouted smiling like a flower and walking toward them.

Arvin's eyes immediately fell on her. Erika was wearing a short black dress. There was no heavy makeup on her pure face, but she still looked elegant and beautiful.

"Oh! It's our big star. Looking beautiful as always Rica." Arvin praised her.

"Thank you for your compliment." Erika held the champagne glass in her hand and touched it with Arvin's.

"Rika, my sweet little sister you are here too?" Oliver said with a smile and hugged her.

"Yes, Arvin invited me."

Erika was Oliver's cousin. She was a well-known female star who has been in the entertainment world since her childhood. So everyone knew her as a child star.

"OK, enjoy the party then." Oliver loved and doted on Erica.

"Oliver, you are finally here." Suddenly Kiara's voice came from behind. She was wearing a goose yellow embroidered cheongsam showing off her perfect figure. With a coquettish smile, she came to Oliver.
