Different kind of New year

On New Year's day, somewhere in an upscale restaurant.

Liam walked into the restaurant with an elegant and dignified aura. He was here to have a meal with Emily.

Emily was already there and has been waiting for him for a long time. She was wearing a purple wrap knee-length dress, which showed off her sexy figure perfectly. She had light makeup on which highlighted the sharp feature of her face. she was looking so beautiful that many men at the restaurant couldn't help but look at her from time to time. However, she sat there with an expressionless face, staring at the door. The moment she saw Liam at the door her face changed dramatically and a beautiful smiled showed up on her cold face.

"Liam, you are here," Emily said in her soft tone which was full of delight seeing the handsome man in front of her.

Liam smiled at Emily and sat down opposite her. "Happy new year."

Liam opened the champagne bottle pour two glasses then took a sip.

"Happy new year, Liam," Emily said with a warm smile touching her glass with Liam's lightly.

"So, how is the plan going?" Liam asked with a calm face.

"I didn't have any chance to have more contacts with Oliver. The last time I went to their house, Ava asked him to drop me at my apartment. But he just dropped me at the door of the community and left, I haven't seen him since then. I tried to make conversation with him at the car and gain his sympathy but he is always very cold and not interested in anything I say." Melody said annoyed. Although she worked at Knight international, but she could not just pop into Oliver's office whenever she wanted.

Liam got a little worried hearing this. He asked in a puzzled tone, "You mean to say he's not interested in you?"

Liam couldn't understand why Oliver was so calm about this. He knew Uncle Joe investigated Emily and as he planted the evidence like she was Melody, he found it that way. So Oliver must know this was Melody then why hasn't he reacted yet?

"Well, that's what it looks like." Emily was also annoyed, how could her charm not work on him? If this didn't work then their plan will fail.

"It seems that we will have to speed up our pace a little. Oliver is not stupid, he knows about our relationship that's why he is probably on guard around you." Liam concluded that must be the reason.

"Emily, you must find more opportunity to make contact with Oliver. You will have to win his trust to let him drop his guard around you completely. Only then you will be able to get to him and led him to your bed. I think it's time for you to recover your memory and tell Oliver you remember everything." Liam said.

"I don't understand why do we have to rush everything?" Melody asked lightly, but her eyes became deep.

"Ava is already 6 months pregnant; we can't let her give birth to this child. Do you understand?" Liam said calmly looking at Emily.

"Oh, why not? What if she gives birth to the child? Are you jealous that Ava is pregnant with Oliver's child?" Emily's tone was full of jealousy.

Liam smiled and said in a tone of ridicule, "What are you talking about? Why would I be jealous because of her pregnancy?"

"Liam, do you really think I'm a fool?" Emily said calmly looking at him angrily. Although her voice was not heavy, but her tone was very strong and certain.

"Emily if you don't trust me, then there is no point of doing all this. What I am saying is true I have nothing to do with Ava. All I want is Oliver to lose everything that includes the baby too." Liam pretended to be angry. He knew well how to get to Emily. He stood up and pretended to leave and he was right. Emily panicked and ran after him.

Emily quickly caught up with him and hugged Liam from behind. She said softly, "Liam, I am sorry. Please don't go. I'll do whatever you ask me to."

Liam listened to her soft voice and a wicked smile showed up at the corner of his lips. Liam turned and said with an expressionless face, "Next month, Oliver will go to England on a business trip. You will tell him you have recovered your memory and asked him to take you to England with him. This will be the only chance Emily for you to ruin Oliver and Ava's relationship. Do you understand?" Liam and Emily came back to their table and sat down again.

"Yes but what if he doesn't agree?" Emily said uncertainly. Except for the first time she saw Oliver at his office he has always been cold to her so she couldn't really understand how Liam thinks he will agree to take her on a business trip.

"What are you talking about? Why wouldn't he agree? Emily, you are so beautiful. No man can refuse you and don't forget Oliver thinks you are Melody he will definitely agree. Liam said confidently."

Melody let out a sarcastic laugh and said tilting her head, "Then why don't you love me?" There was an unknown pain and longing in her eyes.

"Emily, you know what we agreed to, right? I will abide by it. As long as the plan is successful, I will take you abroad." Liam said firmly looking so serious that nobody would be able to tell that he was lying to her.

Emily once again believed his words. He was the only man she loved in her whole life she would believe anything he will say and she was even ready to sleep with Oliver for him. She believed Liam will keep his promise and marry her one day.
