He unbuttoned the first few shirt buttons ,took off his coat ,with no car,he walked into the dark ,silent coldnight.

"What do you want?"he asked
"A bus to hell".

A BUS TO HELL

Juni Cartel sat down in his relaxing chair in the office while sipping his coffee quite slowly,it really wasn't helping that he was having a no appointments day ,Not only an idle hand but an idle mind is the devil's workshop.


And today,the devil was really working hard at messing with his thoughts about the promotion,Is there anything worse if she decides she won't sign the contract before the due date for him?


No!she has to sign it.he has a lot of people he can't let down.


He took his office landline and dialed,Minutes later,Mark came in bearing quite a few files in his hand.


"Here you are ,boss..these are the financial statements from another branch sent over from the headquarters"


"Thanks Beyonce,you can go now"He collected the files and sat down on his office chair to go through them


"You need some help?"his ever loyal secretary asked


"No,i got this"Juni replied and was already off in his world as he took a file to go through it when he felt someone take another.


Sitting across him was Mark, totally ignoring the fact that Juni refused his help as he scrutinized the documents so much that he missed the small smile that came across Juni's face .


"Thank you, Beyonce" Juni said to himself


A delivery guy knocked and came in bearing dishes ,Juni raised an eyebrow at Mark who shrugged and stood up to attend to the delivery guy who smiled alittle too much at him 


"Yes ,he is"Mark answered with a smile.of his own


"I will need him to sign this"the delivery guy said handing over a notepad


Mark passed it to Juni who in return signed and waited for more information to be given,but all that was solved in a few seconds when a text message notification  popped up on his phone


He totally missed the interaction between the  delivery guy and Mark as they exchanged contacts.


"Hey babe.im sure by now you already got the package,you look stressed lately and we both know you need a break and rest which you won't admit but atleast,eat a meal for lunch and share with your Beyonce 😂.All my love."


Thursday came a bit too fast for Juni because he knew everything depended on the trial even though he had no doubt that she would win ,but things have not always worked out for the editor so he knew that much.if she lost custody,she would break down and that would be the end of his dream for the year.


He grabbed his phone off the night stand and sent a short message to her


It was read but no reply,she must be really nervous.


"Hey babe,I'm gonna be out late a bit today, okay? The nanny is coming over to stay with Derek.sorry if I'm not home to welcome you"Carmen called out to him as she  grabbed her car keys off the table


She was leaving quite early but he didn't question her,after all he trusts her .


"Sure babe,take care"Juni called out as he sipped his coffee on the kitchen counter.


And she was gone,Juni sighed as he went to sit in the sitting room to await the Nanny.
