The talk

After the sound of Edna's door closed shut, Frank lay on the couch with only his boxers and his singlet. The cold night breeze blew across the couch where he lay and he wished Edna had given him a blanket.

He tried using his coat to stop himself from shivering but the wetness only made things worse. He decided that he was either going to stay that way and freeze to death or walk up to Edna's door and ask for a simple blanket.

"How hard could it be." He muttered to himself.

He walked bare foot to her door and listened to know if she was still awake or already snoring. When he placed his ears on her door, the door knob twisted and Edna came out holding a bunch of clothes that seemed to be blankets.

They both stared at each other in utter confusion, Edna wondering what Frank was doing right in front of her bedroom door and Frank searching his brain foe the quickest excuse to give her in case she asked him any questions related to what had just happened.
