the night

The place was an open beach area, not any magnificent ballroom which had been shining with all the chandeliers. But it was meticulously set up just for her. That was what touched her more.

It was looking like a fairytale moment. Where Cinderella had finally met her charming prince. The small lightnings that were peeking from the flowers and dangling above her head, giving dim and sensuous vibes.

And the starry night sky above her head only adds its charms to make this moment magical. The way he took her into his arms in this moment. She just wanted to be lost here forever.

He took one of her hands and smoothly placed it on his lower back and held the other one in his hand. He then slipped his arms behind her and pulled her close to him, leaving no gap between their bodies.

Angela was so lost in his deep green eyes, that she didn't utter a single word and so as he. As if their silence was talking to each other perfectly.

Her brain had stopped working at this point and all she could do was to follow his lead.

She was glad that she had attended a party with him before where she had danced with a few men. As she didn't remember her past, she wasn't sure anyone had ever taught her to dance. When he had left her there on that cold night, she would have never thought that even in her dreams that she would dance with him like this, at a place like this.

She never thought that it would feel like this exhilarating, intense, magical and so much more. She wondered if Cinderella felt this way when she danced with her prince for the very first time.

But she was sure she wouldn't leave him when the clock struck 12. In fact, she would hold him tighter never to let go.

Her heart was beating so loudly but strangely, she didn't feel tense. She was dancing with him so smoothly. She was following his lead and she knew she shouldn't be amazed. She had seen him dancing with Helena.

She knew he had that effect on others, but she still was amazed.

The way he held her, touched her, the way he led her, the timing of his every moment was perfect. Their body, their sync was perfect. As if they were two broken pieces of a single puzzle fit perfectly with each other.

He was noticeably graceful in his movements and adding to a slight hint of arrogance that was probably drilled into him since birth. She still remembers the way they met in the club.

His devilish eyes, mischievous eyes and arrogance. How he always drew everyone attention towards him without even trying. She was sure not even the nobles could compare to him. He was simply magnificent.

His nose, his lips, his jaw and every contour of his face was just perfect. There were no words to describe it. Even though she had seen him before, many times, she was still spell bound to him.

She felt that deep inclination towards him. She was sure if she ventured close enough, her eyes would pull her in like a magnet does to the iron. There would be no escape then. But the problem is she just wanted to do that. It would feel so right to lose herself in him.

"Penny for your thoughts?" the man finally spoke startling her from her lost thoughts.

She gazed at his eyes, the way he was looking at her, she smiled enchantingly "i never thought that you would bring me to a place like this"

"Why?" he asked, tilting his head.

"You always went to high end parties. I thought we would go to a club, or a ball maybe." she replied with a little shrug as her moments were restricted in his arms.

"Don't you like it?" he asked her, staring intently.

"I wouldn't say that, but… I never thought that.. I mean this was my first time when someone did something like this for me.. So i am just feeling a little overwhelmed." she confessed looking at the canopy that matched her dress.

He gave her a soft enchanting smile, flashing a set of perfect, ultra white teeth. If only his eyes would smile as well.

"You find the place overwhelming but not the person who had organised it? He was amused by her reply.

Instead of being happy and thanking like other girls, she was feeling overwhelmed. She should be a little bunny rather than an angel.

"No" she replied confidently looking into his eyes.

He laughed at the courage she had, if only she knew. He did tell her in the past but she never believed. Now he could not even tell her. He didn't want to repeat the same mistakes again and repeat the cycle of going back to hell.

He was sure this time Sataniel would keep him there for more than a century. So, if she wanted to take him as a human. It was her choice. He had told her, so he was not at fault here.

"You are a brave little angel you know." he replied with an amused smile.

"Where were you?" she asked him the question she was dying to know.

How could he leave her at his house, just like that.

"I had some urgent matters to deal with" he replied shortly not wanting to dwell into the matter.

"But you could have informed me." she added not ready to let go that easily.

"Do you really want to talk about that little angel?" he asked, moving his fingers gently on her back.

She shivered at his touch. He smirked satisfied with the reaction. Coming close to her ears, he whispered "in fact do you think we should waste this moment talking little angel?"

His hot breath tickles her nerves as she lost herself in the strong sensations he was giving her.
