The Four Missing

"Ow! you're on my spine!"

"You don't even know where your spine is, Prest!"

"Get your butt out of my face!"

"How about you get your face out of my butt!"

"How about you both shut up before we get caught by someone!" Harley finally said, quieting down the two arguing twins. A door of a janitor's closet then opened up slowly. The only issue was that Preston fell, causing Roxanne to fall like a pile of dominos. Harley walked to the side before she could become one of the ones on the floor as well. Harley looked down at them, groaning while giving them both a backhanded assault. They started walking down the quiet hallway. Harley walked down the hallway and took a right to the submission office. They needed to get their legal papers to have a specific thing in the future.

"It's blocked off!"

"Pretty sure we can see that, dude."

"Stop fighting and find the keys. Remember, the staff and teachers aren't allowed to keep the keys, so they don't lose them. We have to find out where they put it. We have to check the main office."

They started walking to a rotten-looking burgundy door across from the cafeteria just as they were about to open the central office's door. A loud metallic sound as if a bowl was thrown across the cafeteria again in a food fight that Roxanne had started once. They looked at each other and shook their heads as if a yes to getting caught, but when they expected their names to be called, they heard nothing but silence. They turned around to see two figures opening the double doors of the cafeteria. One on either side of the doors, the taller one to the right, while a shorter person to the left double door. They were dressed in full black with masks. With jackets with a patch symboled the "L.O.P" on the right side of their jacket's pockets.

While slowly stepping back, the figures just continued to stare at them. Of course, out of instinct, all three kids turned to each other and started running down the ends of the hallway. The figures chased after them. "split up, there's only two, and meet me up at The Death Door!" Harley yelled out towards the twins." Got it!" was the answer from the siblings as Harley took a left turn. Preston stayed in the middle, and Roxanne took a sharp right. The two figures split up, the taller after Preston and the shorter after Roxanne.

Harley continued running, then took another sharp left yet bumped into the most prominent figure, another L.O.P. If Harley were to describe him, it would be "the muscle one, with no brain up the stairs." For a split second, he stared down at Harley. There weren't just two people; it was three! Harley then Immediately yelled regretfully, "Nope!" then turned around with a loud sneaker skid sound and backtracked down the hallway in the opposite direction just before the man could grab at her hair to pull her back; she then kicked him hard in the knee "I may not be strong, but at least I am tall enough to break your kneecaps!" he then let her go in pain of his legs knee as Harley continued running in the opposite direction. "Never mind, NEVER GOING THAT WAY!" Harley continued running and lost him by hiding in one of the creepy wardrobes in the hallways; she creaked the tiny door to see if he was gone, which thankfully he was. Harley started running again to get to The Death Door until she finally saw the door, which happened to be the entrance to the orphanage. The kids at the orphanage secretly decided to give it a well-purposed name. Harley saw Roxanne and Preston out of breath.

"There is a muscle guy. Yeah, there are three people. And I am guessing they probably have a getaway driver guy."

"You have to be kidding me..." Roxanne said, plainly irritated.

"We heard you threaten someone's kneecaps, so we were pretty sure one of our people tried to grab you since I lost my guy before you guys but apparently, now we have to deal with three!" Preston exclaimed.

"Four. And let's get to the bush. And remain quiet." Harley finished.

They started running to the bush they cut yesterday morning; good news, they fit perfectly. Preston then covered the hole."What now?" Preston asked softly, "We take a left on Cherry Tree St, then we stay in the forest till morning and then hop on one of the trains luggage departments or whatever it is called, remember Preston" "oh yeah, well, let's go before they figure out we aren't hiding in the orphanage."

They took a left at Cherry Tree St. Preston was ahead of his sister while Harley stayed behind them. Preston saw another person standing outside a black van with the same black clothes and logo. He looked a little closer and saw one person holding a kid about their age range. The kid had a hood and duck tape on his mouth.

"Preston, what do you see? What's wrong, Preston? Are the people over there?" Preston froze when he heard his sister ask softly, not to catch anything but Preston's.

"There are two other people. They have a kid about our age," Preston finally replied.

"Can we help in any way? But then again, we can't let that happen to us," Harley implied.

"We're going to need a better plan," Roxanne and Preston said in synch.

"No kidding."

Out of nowhere, the two people chasing them in the orphanage came out from behind them. They had nowhere to go "well, now there's four of these L.O.P people; what are they gonna do to us?" The three called for the other one near the black van after the man had thrown the other kid into the truck. They came over and took each Harley, Roxanne, and Preston.
