The Result of L.O.P

As a blurry feeling could be felt in Harley's head, she turned to any person she could find, at least. Preston was awake but looked car sick.

"What happened, and why does my head hurt so much?"

"While we were fighting against them, you got knocked out by getting hit in the head by one of them," answered Preston.

"well...that explains a lot. Great! So we're in a black moving van, and Roxy...you're not talking. It's creeping me out. And we have no clue what's going on..."

"I am just wondering where they're taking us; I mean, what does L.O.P even stand for?"

"Who knows, maybe they are aliens and LOVE OTHER PEOPLE so much that they steal kids to have a human as a dog on their home planet named Lop?" theorized Preston

Roxy's reply was more of a look. The very known "how am I your twin" kind of look. While Harley just facepalmed and said, "wow, it makes sense if aliens even existed."

"Hey, shut up back there!" yelled one of the people through the van's metal bar dividers while banging it in irritation. Then Roxy mumbled, "wish I could bang at them like that. If only we weren't the ones stuck back here; it smells like dirty feet."

"Wait a sec, wasn't there another kid? Then where is he?" Preston answered before Roxanne got the chance. "There are two vans; he's in the other one with the "muscle man," and I recognize him from the orphanage. He's a weird kid. Thirteen years old. He mostly hangs around after class, always in hallway 2b for some reason; either he got detention every day or knew something was up with the orphanage."

"wait, hallway 2b. Wasn't that the office of the orphanage's owner? What was his name again? was his name Blarney? Jeffery? Bob?"

"Bruh, Bob? Really? It's Harvey heard he died in a fire at his mansion," Harley said, reminiscing a teacher talking to another teacher about the same subject, "Why's it always got to be fired..."; "yeah, that's right. Why would a kid be hanging out around a dead guy's office? I mean, like there's no one there, and no one ever found the lock," Rox added.

"Really...?" Harley and Preston said with interest, "well, looks like if we get to talk to that kid, the first thing we have to ask him is if he knows what's going on here," said Preston.

"Can't agree more."

"same, agreement."

The van went to an abrupt stop; it was a stop sign, and the person just wanted to fling the kids on the floor in the back, or they had arrived where the weird people were taking them. They were taken out of the van, and a lady without the same clothing as the others that took them came toward the kids through the building doors. The lady told them, "If you try to get away, it's just going to get worse for you kids. So I suggest you not go snooping around here like in the orphanage."

Before Harley and the others could ask her a question, she continued, "Don't make it any worse than it is for me." Harley, Roxanne, and Preston were then escorted into the ginormous building that read in big, bold letters L.O.P League of Powers Lab of Governmental Activity. The kids wondered if they would die until cold air hit their skin, and they looked up. They saw white, blue, and silver-colored hallways. It reminded Harley of a movie about lab experiments. More specifically, the Maze Runner where kids were taken from the government and put into real-life horror experiments. The kids split up, each with one of the people. Harley was set with the same lady telling them to listen and go with what the others were telling them. Yeah, Harley isn't one to have others tell her the rules without telling her the consequences if she were to break the rules. Harley is one to question authorities.

Preston ended up with the one who told them to "shut up." And Roxy ended up with the tall person chasing them in the hallways. Prest to the left hallway, Ley to the right hallway, and Roxy to the middle hallways of the L.O.P Facility. Before they were split up, Harley whispered into both their ears, "Don't ever give up without a fight because were am going to figure out this whole place, and I promise you guys we will get out of here. However, we don't know when. I say we will." They nodded their heads as an act of we know, and we believe you. Their friendship was always built on promise and built on truth.

Harley saw kids of all ages walking around down the hallways. Harley was then torn from her thoughts when she was pulled from the hallway to a door that read "Restricted Area Doc. Oliver's Lab."

The lady knocked on the door. A man then shouted, "come in!" The lady then opened the door slowly. "Here is Harley Hunter. Go easy on her, Sir." Then she left the room; Harley questioned in her mind, how did she know her first name and last name? A man stepped out of a dark corner as if he were a villain waiting for a dramatic entrance. Harley was able to get a better look a the "Doctor."

The man was revealed to have gray and black hair with glasses that looked like the end were burned. The Doctor had a stare put on Harley and said, "sit down on the chair, and I will make sure it doesn't hurt, go against me and I will no doubt hurt you. Let's see what rank you are."

"Why should I trust you? Where are my friends because-" the doctor's arm grabbed Harley pushed her down in the chair, and locked Harley into the chair as if she was in a psycho institute. "As I said, this won't hurt," said Doc. Oliver while he walked over to a high-tech computer as if they were taking an x-ray.

After two to five minutes, he said, "just as I suspected, you are a pyrokinesis; a red; Very well then, let's hope you listen, unlike someone I know." The Doctor then walks over to a silver shelf and grabs a needle that says on the side TRUTH SERUM for red and a restricted sign that read.

"If the result of the subject is not red, it may result in the slowness of breathing, redness in the eyes, burning throat, and death," as soon as Doc. Oliver put it on the table to grab something else. Harley saw the needle, her phobia of needles flaring high as her eyes went wide. Harley started moving in the chair, trying to get out while the Doctor was away for a few minutes. She was able to pull with her leg a plate of tools on a table to the right of herself, dropping multiple devices on her herself. Harley grabbed a small knife-looking tool sharp enough to cut through the leather, holding her clutched to the chair. Once it was entirely cut, she grabbed the needle, then rushed back to the chair, lay on it, and put the cut leather on her hands. The doctor returned to check on Harley, then Harley jumped into action, almost getting the Doctor in the neck with the needle.

The Doctor called for more assistance having the lady come in and tie Harley to the chair to resume giving Harley the needle. "No, get away from me, you stupid Doc. Oct. Stop. Leave me alone, you four-eyed-" then Harley was injected, and she began to feel dizzy. Her vision blurred, and her head pounded while her heart was pounding. Her heart felt like it was on literal fire; a memory of the smoke filling her lungs; felt the same way. Then a faint sound, Harley was out like a light switch being turned off.

The same thing happened with Roxanne but with different name-callings along the lines of a loser, fat guy with a coat, and Doctor Frankenstein...even with Preston. The same thing happened with them being given the needle titled "Truth Serum" except for their read green or a purple mixture of substances, but with the same warnings. Three kids were taken to a room with assigned bunk beds while sleeping. . There were also other kids, about three others, but they were deep sleep to notice the three new arrivals. How will they react when they wake up and find that this was no dream?
