Chapter 5: He Deserves To Know

The room was quiet and Liam was bored. He talked with William and Jordan for what felt like an hour or two and he was very glad that no one asked about what happened during these years that he was a runaway rough.

Logan left to eat something by Liam's order. He was a mess. His light brown hair was so messy and looked like no one had brushed it for years and he had bags under his gold-brown eye.

Liam didn't love Logan but he liked him, just the way it should be on the first days of meeting your mate which shocked him. He wanted to reject Logan without even knowing him but now, he's happy that he didn't. Logan made a perfect and caring mate.

"God, I'm bored!" Liam suddenly said. Right now, that he was thinking about it, he shouldn't have let Logan go. At least he could sleep easier when he was around. Someone then knocked on the door. "Come in."

Liam looked at the doctor that came into the room with a small smile on his lips. "Hey there! So, you're finally awake! I'm Allen Darkwood, the Delta of this pack. How do you feel?"

Liam only looked at him. True, he talked with his mate and William and Jordan but that was because he fully trusted them, yeah Liam trusted his mate so when he says Selene has a way with her words don't question him. He didn't know this man and he had no reason to trust him which led to the fact that Liam doesn't want to talk to him. He just nodded.

"I need to do some check-ups. The wolfsbane is out of your body but we need to make sure of it, okay?" Allen understood that the boy didn't want to talk. A wolf using wolfsbane must have had a hard life.

Liam nodded. Allen came closer and did his job. "And done! You're fully healed! And god, you have a perfect healing skill!" Allen said with a kind smile.

As the doctor left, Logan walked in. They were exactly the opposite, Logan and Liam, at least the Liam before the trauma, the real Liam. Logan was quiet and moody with a frown always on his face and snapping at everyone and everything, except his mate, but Liam used to be a hyper kid while always talking and smiling at everyone even those who hurt him.

"Hi!" Logan said while sitting next to Liam's bed. The atmosphere was still awkward and none of the Boys knew what to say.

"Hi..." Liam answered and looked at the gold eyes. Logan's face never showed any emotions but his eyes weren't emotionless. The silence was irritating and both of the boys wanted to say something but neither of them knew what to say.

Tell him. Blue said in the back of Liam's head. He deserves to know why he found his mate in the forest with wolfsbane and dagger.

Are you sure? Liam wanted so much to tell Logan everything and this would probably be the end of their awkward silence but he didn't want to pressure his wolf.

I'm sick of the silence between us. Blue wanted his mate even though he used to think about every possible way to reject him and Selene's order. Say it, Liam. I know you want to tell him. I'm your wolf, I'm you. We have the same desires.

"Logan..." It was the second time that he called his mate. He realized he does need more quality time with his mate. They knew each other very well but at the same time, they knew nothing.

"Yes?" Logan took Liam's hand without thinking which surprised both of them but he didn't let go and intertwined their fingers.

"I am a member of the Eclipse pack and a survivor." Liam looked at Logan that for the first time his face was showing emotions. He was shocked, really shocked.

"Then you...?" Logan wanted to ask him about the attack that killed the whole pack but he couldn't make himself do it and Crimson didn't want Blue and Liam to be sad. Logan had the same feelings.

"Yes, I saw everything that happened that night and I was seventeen," Liam said. "Two years of being a rough that was supposed to be dead was hard and the choice was an agreement between my wolf and me."

Logan pulled his seat closer to the bed and hugged Liam while whipping his cheeks which shocked Liam, partly because he didn't even realize he was crying. The Beta blood that he had overpowered his mind for a second. The pride wanted him to stop crying but right now, he couldn't care less. It was his mate.

"It's gonna be okay." Logan shushed him and slowly ruffled the boy's hair. "No one will hurt you here. Nothing like that will ever happen because I won't let it."

Liam was broken. The things he witnessed tore him apart and shattered him into thousands of pisses. He lost so many parts of himself during his two-year journey but Logan had them. He had the pieces and he was building the boy again, something that only a mate can do.

"I watched my pack, my family, kill each other!" Liam sobbed in Logan's shoulder. It was the first time he cried for what he witnessed and actually, it felt good.

Seeing Liam like that, broken, Logan wanted to burn every single soul that had a hand in the attack. He let his mate cry freely without saying anything, he knew Liam needed that, a perfect cry.

"Blood was everywhere Logan!" Liam cried harder and he didn't care that Logan was watching this pathetic side of him. He knew Logan wouldn't judge, that he would understand.

"Everyone... Everyone I knew... They all died." His voice was barely above a whisper. He clung to Logan's shirt and hide his teary face in between Logan's neck as Logan nuzzled his neck while whispering soothing things in his ear.

"And me?" Liam said with sadness and full of regret. "What I did? I tried to ended what was gifted to me!" And this is the time that Logan couldn't hold back anymore.

He hated to see his mate full of sadness. He wanted his mate to be happy and to have the happy life that he deserves. Even though it's been less than two days since the first time they talked, Logan loved his mate and he knew perfectly well that Liam was one of those too-good-for-this-world people.

"Liam." Was it the first time he called Liam by his name? "You deserve more than this world can offer. You're broken and you may be stay like that for months, or years, but it will end because you have me and I will be here, always, all the time. Together we will put all the pieces back and one day, you will be complete again and till that day, we will still be together. It's not just words Liam, it's a promise."

Liam pulled back to look at his mate's eyes. There was nothing but the truth in them and he was very glad about it. Yes, he loved his mate. He loved someone that he met only yesterday but that someone was the person that matched him more than everyone in this world so what's the problem with loving him?

The moment felt so right. Their bodies were pressed together and their eyes were shining with affection. Slowly, Logan leaned down while Liam leaned forward. Liam closed his eyes and after a moment for Logan to admire his mate's beauty, he closed his eyes too and their lips met each other.

They moved with perfect sync and their tongues were fighting for dominance and after a perfect minute, Logan wined the battel. He smirked in between the kisses which also made Liam smile. The sweet taste of each other made their wolves howl with satisfaction.

The next step of the mating process was the kiss which meant they are now closer than before. With a little concentration, other wolves could smell Logan's scent on Liam and Liam's scent on Logan.

Finally, they pulled back but they were still close to each other, their bodies pressed against each other while they were panting for oxygen.

"Today is one of the best days of my life," Logan said, His forehead against his mate.

Liam looked at the gold-brown eyes and smiled. He was happy and nothing could ruin this moment for him, not even his memories. He was happy and he wanted his mate to know it too.

"Me too Logan..." Liam smiled again and Logan was still smiling. "Me too..."
