Almost immediately I felt 4 pair of hands on both my thighs and shins. Locking me in place. The doctor came closer with the big ass needle. I took one glance at it and shit my pants right there.
There's no way in hell that is coming near me.
With one of my shoulders still free I started to move frantically making it hard for the doctor to pierce the needle into my skin.
Ryder let out a growl and removed his grip from my upper right arm to my right shoulder.
As if on que, the one of the nurses who were standing back grabbed the rest of my right arm and pinned it down on the bed.
I couldn't let the needle take my blood. I just couldn't.
So I screamed.
My scream made everyone but Ryder jump and loosen their grip on me. I took this to my advantage but I was too late.
"For God's sake. Just stop. It's only a god damn needle, Camilia!" He protested.
"I. Am. Not. Letting. That. Thing. Near. Me." I stated while still moving my body as much as could.
"Well then. Forgive me for this, agent AH 2." He mumbled and earned a confused look from me.
He let go of my left arm and raised it up to the crook of my neck. He traced his hand along my neck as of he was looking for something. When he stopped, I knew exactly what he was doing. He pressed down on my skin, right on my pressure point.
"Go to hell." were the last words I managed to say before I let my body go completely limp.
I woke up in the same room that I was in before but this time there wasn't anyone in the room with me. I got up and and made my way to the bathroom.
Sitting on the toilet was blue, cloth, hospital robe with a handwritten note stuck on it.
Get changed into it. No excuses!
I chukled when I read the note. Definitely from Sandra, who else. I got changed because I was too tired to fight her words. I was mentally and physically exhausted but I was never too tired to hide it.
When I was finished I washed my face and exited the boring room. As I roamed around the bare hallways I noticed that I was the only patient around. There was no sign of anyone occupying the rooms along the halls. They were all vacant.
I kept walking, unsure of where to go, so I just went straight. After about ten minutes I saw the receptionist.
"Oh hey. Camilia. Your up!" She said. Walking up to me slowly.
"Hey. I have a question for you. Why is there no patients here?" I asked staring at her intensely. Making her uncomfortable.
"Umm...Ahhhh.... Oh Sandra, how are you!?" She greeted Sandra.
"Hello Pearl. Camilia come to your room with me I need to talk with you." She said while turning on her heel and walking towards my room.
I followed her quickly back the the room. When I got to the room Sandra was was sitting on the couch. She patted the space beside her, indicating for me to sit beside her.
My heart started rapidly and I could feel my stomach twisting. I sat down hesitantly beside her avoiding her haze at all costs.
"I see you read my note." Sandra noticed wearing a proud smile on her face. I just hummed in response, avoiding any unnecessary questions.
"So you and Ryder having getting on well. I seen you two laughing at Doctor Clark earlier." She stated noticing my uneasiness after she mention Ryder's name.
I hummed again but this time I nodded my head aswell. My face was showing no emotion same goes for my body language. I was a blank page. Just like normal.
"Okay so? How are you feeling after the needle incident?" She asked, looking at me quizzically. Probably trying to read my body language.
"Fine." I answered coldly. While sitting back in the couch and crossing my legs, staring blankly at Sandra.
"Okay I know your lying but I'll let you off this time. Ryder should be here in a few minutes. I need to discuss more about the mission." There was a long paused filled with silence.
"Oh and the doctor told me your not to leave the room until tomorrow. Ryder will pick you up and bring clothes for you because you'll be leaving early tomorrow to Ireland." She told me breaking the awkward silence at last.
I simply closed my eyes, rested my head back and sighed heavily.
"Camilia I know it's hard but it's only going to get worse and worse if you don't talk to someone." She suggested resting her hand on my shoulder.
The door opened revealing Ryder who quickly rushed in, closed the door and sat down. Staring me down who still had my eyes closed.
"Okay. I'll start then.... Okay your going to leave tomorrow. Here's the house that you'll be living in
She handed me and Ryder a sheet with a picture of a beautiful mansion with a huge pool out side of the front of it. My jaw dropped open soon followed by an excited smile.
