Day With The Decepticons

SORRY SHORT ONE

It's been a hours now, surprisingly Slade hasn't come back yet. Saber groans silently, she is currently laying on the berth. Her servos rest gently on her stomach, while her helm is down. Closing her optics gently, she sighs quietly.

She opens her optics and glares at the door, as if he's going to walk through at any point. Sitting up, she searches her armor for any camera's or bugs. When she finds none, she stands up and runs for the door. It opens and she looks around outside the door. Nothing.

Saber quickly runs down the hallway, her blaster at the ready. When she turns the corner, she is met with Hunter. In fact, she nearly ran right into him. Backing up, she turns and runs down the other hall. Knowing that soon Slade would be after her. As if on cue, the mech walks around the corner and grabs her servos.

"Slade!-" She shouts, but his free servo covers her derma. His optics don't even look at her, just at Hunter who is standing behind Saber. Said mech, walks over and knocks her unconscious.

With a small groan, Saber opens her bright crystal blue optics. Her servos are chained to the berth frame right above her helm so she can't get off the berth. Sighing, she looks around the rest of the room. She immediately see's a certain angry mech sitting at his computer.

When Slade looks over at her, the dangerous look is in his blood red optics again. "I thought I told you to stay put?" The femme glares at him, but doesn't respond. "Remember what I told you Saber? I always keep my word." Saber then tries pulling on the chains, but to her dismay nothing happens.

"Are you just going to keep me like this? Or...." He sighs, then stands up. His red optics not leaving hers as he does so.

"When I return, just to make sure you don't leave again." A small smirk forms on his derma. Saber glares at him as he walks out the door, leaving her in silence once again. Having nothing better to do, since she is stuck, she closes her bright optics and goes into recharge.

~~~
The door opens after a few hours, and in walks Slade. His bright red optics trail over to Saber's crystal blue ones. He sighs, walking over to the femme and removing the chains around her wrists. Hesitantly, Saber sits up, annoyance filling her optics.
Saber sits against the wall next to the berth, Slade just sits down at his computer, typing away at the keyboard. The femme rests her helm back against the wall, after a few minutes pass, her servo buzzes silently. She opens her optics a little and notices it's a beacon from the Autobots.
Seeing that the mech is not paying attention, she uses her free servo and pushes the accept button. A small beeping sound comes from the communicator, silent enough but it still seems to catch the mech's attention. He looks over with a glare in his optics.
"Saber, I advise you stop." He growls, but surprisingly turns and returns to his computer. Sighing softly, the femme puts it away and closes her optics. Yet another day with the Decepticons.
A few hours have passed now, Slade has taken Saber out of the room for a while. The two of them walk down the hallways. Some cons glance in her direction before continuing on with what they were doing. After a few minutes of walking, they reach the bridge. There Hunter stands while talking silently to a vehicon, his optics barely meet Saber's before looking away uninterested.
"Hunter, you're in command till we get back," With that said, the mech nods his helm. Saber follows Slade to the rooftop. The second she steps foot on the rooftop, images of Nova's offline body flash in her optics. The mech stops and looks over at her with a sigh, seeing the sadness in her optics. "I apologize Saber, but a promise is a promise. I still intend on one day keeping my promise with Racer."
Saber rubs her other arm sadly, but her optics meet his brighter red optics. Why is he in such a good mood today? His servo grabs her's gently, then they walk towards the edge. "Stay nearby me, otherwise I'll have to hunt you down...again." He glares at her when saying 'again'. The first time she had come here, she ran. Of course she didn't get too far, only barely outside the base before Slade caught her.
The two transform, although Saber is naturally a grounder, on some occasions she can transform into a jet. She doesn't do it often because it can sometimes be painful to transform. This time however, it didn't. Which is a bit strange. The two begin to fly around the Decepticon capital.
"Carrier, I'm scared." Saber whispers, hiding her faceplates in her Carriers chassis. Tears forming in her optics. The femme holding her sighs quietly, obviously scared as well. But this sense of braveness courses through her body. It makes young Saber want to be strong just like her Carrier.
"I know little Saber, but you have to stay strong." The big door opens and Nova is pushed to the hard ground. She quickly runs towards Saber and her Carrier. Noticing their Carrier's servos are restrained to the wall, but she still sits on the floor. "Nova sweetie, it's going to be okay. Promise me you'll keep you're sister safe?" She whispers to little Nova who is trying to comfort Saber.
Nova is more of a young preteen kid rather than Saber's child form. "I promise Carrier," Her voice sounds less like a child and more like actually talking normally. "I'll do anything for her." She wraps her arms around Saber and holds the crying sparkling. Just when a mech enters the room. The two are taken further away by a few vehicons even though they fight back.
This mech they remember as Megatron, "Rela Nico, I was surprised when Optimus wasn't with you. After all, how long has it been since he has left your side?" His voice is taunting and a devilish smirk plays on his faceplates. Rela glares at Megatron, no fear in her optics. But through the bond, both femmes can feel the slight fear creeping into her spark.
"Get it over with Megatron," She whispers, knowing there is no way out of this situation. He chuckles lowly, then takes out his sword. Upon noticing what is about to happen, Nova runs towards her Carrier.
However, before she can get to her, Megatron grabs her by the back of her neck. "Ah, ah, ah. Little Femmling. I'll be dealing with you two later," Nova screams and kicks at him, trying everything to stop him from taking her Carriers spark.
"You'll die Megatron! I swear by it! One day, Saber's gonna kill you!" She screams, he chuckles darkly. Then drops her next to young Slade. He is about the same age as Nova, maybe a little older, by one or two eons (Years). He grabs her arms and holds her back. No reaction or emotion really on his faceplates. His optics only stare over at Saber for a moment before back to Nova.
Saber sits there crying, since she is still too young to fight she had never been taught yet like Nova had. But yet this feeling in his spark tells him to help her, to run to her. To keep her safe. No matter what. "Slade, I know you'll be a great war lord when you grow up." Megatron says softly, then walks towards the older femme. "One of these days, it'll be Saber instead of Rela. Who knows, maybe even Nova as well." He chuckles.
"No!!!" Nova screams, tears streaming down her faceplates, but yet he doesn't move. He doesn't feel sad about Rela dying. Or the fact that it's hurting Saber and Nova either. It's like one second he wanted to make Saber's pain stop more than anything, the next, he could care less.
Saber and Nova's chance at being whole vanishes before their optics upon feeling their spark bond shatter with their Carrier. Nova falls to the ground screaming in pain, her servo holding her chassis close. This feels so much worse than losing each other's spark bond. Most likely because both of them were at peace with it, not now. Not ever like this. Saber's crying just turns into soft screaming of pain, tears streaming down her faceplates.
Suddenly, a mech bursts into the room, once his optics set on the crying femmes and the offline one, anger and fury burn in his bright blue optics. "Megatron!!" He shouts, his voice deep and angry. But yet full of sadness and spark break. A few Autobots grab Nova and Saber while Megatron takes off with Slade in his arms.
***
I shake my helm softly, landing and transforming with Slade back on the rooftop. The memory just won't go away though, I stop walking and turn to Slade. Tears in my optics. Upon seeing them, he frowns and walks over. "What is it Saber?" He asks, clearly annoyed that I am suddenly upset.
"Do you care?" That takes him back a bit, not expecting that kind of answer. However he answers it truthfully.
"I'm not sure Saber, one minute I would give my spark for you. The next I could care less about you." She crosses her arms and glares at him softly, if that's even possible.
"And which one are you feeling right now?" She asks softly, he doesn't say anything for a few minutes. Instead he walks over to the femme and gently puts his servos around her waist. Shocking her slightly. Then he leans in and kisses her gently. After a few moments, he pulls away.
"That answer you're question?" He whispers with a small smirk on his faceplates. The wind begins to blow Saber's long wires behind her, causing her bright, sparkling, crystal blue optics to glow slightly. The moons are out, and the air is getting colder.
The femme's shocked reaction fades away and she lifts her servos up and around his neck, she then lets her helm rest gently against his chassis. His spark warming her from the cold of the windy breezy night around them. Her servos now rest next to her helm on his chassis, she isn't that much shorter than him so the top her helm barely misses the bottom of his jaw.
They both sit like that for a while, eventually Slade's comm goes off and he is informed of something. He just sighs, deciding to figure it out later when he brings her back to the room. He silently thinks to himself with curiosity in his optics. 'How are you so strong Saber Prime?' It's the one question he has always questioned.
It's the whole reason for this, the promise, taking her sister from her, killing all the Autobots that have served her. None of it has worked. She still fights. Even after she lost so much. Her Creator, her Carrier, her Sister, her friends. None of it. So there is only one thing that has to work.
'Racer has to die.'
