Aquila walked calmly towards the city gates without bothering about the three men. Actually, she was thinking about her identity.

'The young miss of the Silvermoon family... from the looks of things, this Silvermoon family should be a powerful one, perhaps from the capital. If so, then what would happen if they recognized me but realized that I wasn't their daughter? I can't do anything about that now so... I guess I'll just cross that bridge when I come to it.'

Upon entering the city, she noticed that the buildings were all made of the same material; that pearly white material that she noticed the ground was made of.

The city itself was situated by a large field of flowers, though the flowers looked like they hadn't been tended for in years. Realizing that the outfit she was currently wearing would make her quite noticeable, not to mention very uncomfortable to wear, she decided to first get a change of clothes before doing anything else. Thankfully, she had managed to acquire several silver coins from the bodies of corpses back at that ruined town.

Aquila walked through the city, looking for a clothing store. As she got closer to the center of the town, she noticed that there were many clothing stores here and all the grocery stores were situated near the outer region of the city. Choosing the closest clothing store to herself, she walked inside. Seeing the racks upon racks of clothing inside the store, Aquila raised her eyebrows slightly.

Walking over to one of the dresses, Aquila checked the prices to make sure the outfits weren't too expensive. This particular dress that was made of a rough material and had a pretty plain design cost seven silvers. Reaching into her pockets and counting the coins she had quickly, she realized that she had twenty-two silvers at the moment. She didn't care as much about the design of the clothes, but she did care about how comfortable it was to wear. Plus, the color of the dress was really too bright. Glancing around, she decided to check another store and left this one. As she walked out, a woman was sneering at her from the counter.

'Too poor to afford anything, huh?' The woman thought to herself in disdain.

Paying the woman no heed, Aquila walked to a store closer to the center of the city but not too close as she didn't know how expensive things were in this world.

Walking inside, Aquila immediately noticed that this store was a lot more orderly than the other one she entered. The clothes were hung neatly and tidily. Walking over to one outfit, she noted that this one was made of a much softer material and had a nice design. This one was worth ten silvers.

'Not too bad.' Aquila thought.

Taking a quick glance at the clothes in the store, she decided to take a look at the clothes on the far left corner of the store. Looking through the organized racks of clothes, it was quite easy to find the size she needed.

'Thirteen silvers. Okay, I'll take it.'

Taking it off the rack, she walked over to the section where the leggings were. Since she figured she might need to fight, she wanted to be able to move flexibly and comfortably in a fight. Choosing a pair of plain black leggings that cost three silvers, Aquila then moved onto the shoes. Interestingly enough, she liked to fight wearing shoes with heels. For her who had great control over her body and balance, wearing heels in a fight wasn't difficult at all. In her opinion, it gave her an easier range of motion. It was also because she was trained to do so from a young age back at home and had gotten used to it. Plus, stabbing people with her heels made fights end a lot quicker as well.

Choosing a pair of plain black stilettos that covered her toes, had a four-inch heel, and a strap around the ankles that cost five silvers, Aquila walked over to the counter to make her purchases. Putting down the items she chose, she took out twenty-one silvers from her pocket and placed them on the counter.

This lady was a lot more professional than the other, and she only smiled politely at Aquila without making any unnecessary scoffs or sneers at her. She had met many types of people, and one of them included powerful people who wore common clothes to blend in. As long as they had the money for it, and she was getting business, that was all that mattered.

"Thank you for purchasing at Moon Silk for Females."

"Thank you." Aquila had to admit, she was rather impressed by the woman's professionalism. Thanking the woman, she took her clothes and left the counter, walking towards a changing room. Since she was here already, she might as well change first.

Getting dressed quickly and smoothly, Aquila walked out of the dressing room holding the clothes she was wearing before. Nodding slightly to the lady at the counter, Aquila walked out of the store before casually flinging the rags she was wearing before into a nearby trash bin accurately.

The lady at the counter had to take a second glance at Aquila when she saw her leave the dressing room. While the girl wasn't the prettiest girl the woman had seen, she was definitely one of the prettiest, especially after changing into neater looking clothes.

Currently, the girl was wearing a short-sleeved, turquoise-colored kimono robe that reached the middle of her thighs. Matched with a pair of plain black leggings that clung tightly to her long legs, and a pair of striking 4-inch heels, she looked like a sophisticated but cold young lady, just like what her countenance suggested.

'Indeed, we can't judge people based on what they wear. All these young ladies just love sneaking out and around. For all we know, that girl just now could very well be the young miss of some prominent family.' Little did the woman know, she was absolutely correct.

'Mn. These clothes are so much more comfortable to wear.' Aquila thought as she walked around the city looking for a library of sorts. She figured a library would probably be closer to the center of the city. Just as she thought, she found the library near the center of the city. A two-story building with a large sign showing the two words, "Book Hall".
