Tutorial package

"Fu~fu. Now, you can no longer do any sort of evil deeds even if you want to! Do you get it, little Jimmy? This is your only choice now. Walk in the path of righteousness with this system!" Santa spoke as he jumped around. He considered it a mission success.

"Are you freaking kidding me!! Why would you do something like that, crazy old man?" Jimmy was furious. The stat points which could've possibly increased his strength and even his magic ability was wasted on a useless stat. And above that, the old guy somehow infiltrated the system and borrowed 100,000 stat points just to dump it all onto that usual shite again.

"Well, you were considering ditching this power and joining Satan's side. What should I have done other than this?" Santa shrugged his shoulders as if he had no other choice.

This pissed Jimmy off. "That was a freaking joke! Damn, you can't even take in a joke, huh? Argh… I'm beyond angry now. Not only did you ruin my chance to join the other side, which I wasn't considering in the first place, you just fricked over the system by putting all my stat points into Karma… Karma, for pete's sake!! Like, what's the use of it? It's worse than Luck stat. You really want me to fail, huh:? Like, I would've been fine if you just dumped 100 points on it, you had to borrow 100,000 extra, huh? You idiot!" He cried in anger.

Seeing Jimmy furious, Santa became a little sad. Like, he expected Jimmy to get angry, however he didn't expect this amount of fury. "You should've specified that…" Santa said in a really low voice.

"Do I have to specify everything… Oh, well… I'm sorry I guess! I didn't think you'd be this big of an idiot. I should've considered that freaking Santa Claus is an idiot that he had to make a mess in the system he created." Jimmy spoke as he suppressed his anger.

"Jimmy… I'm sorry…" Santa replied in an even lower voice than before.

"Look… just get off my screen for now. I just can't meet eye to eye with you right now. So, off you go." Jimmy replied as he tried swatting Santa away from his eyes.

"Is that so… I will excuse myself then." A really disappointed Santa exited the screen and Jimmy was met with a peaceful atmosphere once again. He lied back in the bed and started to brainstorm about anything good that could come with the mess-up that Santa did. In the end, it seemed useless. He can't allot any stat points until he completes a thousand freaking missions! He can't level up either. The only thing that looks okay is the EXP. Thankfully, the old geezer didn't mess that part up. Although, he didn't really need EXP since he can't level up anymore. In the end, Jimmy could do nothing but sigh at the situation that he had in his hand.

Suddenly, the system that he swatted away before came before him with a new alert.

[System alert:

The creator is wishing to send {Package: Tutorial.mp4}

Would you like to accept:

Yes/No]

"The old geezer sent the tutorial? Ha, it's in the video form, huh? Does that mean I have to see that guy's face again? Damn it! But, I don't know anything about this system. So…" Jimmy muttered as he pressed yes. The package started to download, however the speed was too slow. Seeing that it wasn't gonna end any time soon, Jimmy decided to walk around Piers' room and let it download by itself. However, as soon as Jimmy took his eyes off the system, the video was downloaded at a record speed.

"HELLO LITTLE JIMMY!" Santa's loud voice hit Jimmy's ears in an unexpected situation.

"What the! This freaking guy. Is he trying to destroy my eardrums with this video?" Jimmy sighed as he headed back to the bed to watch the video in a bit more comfortable position, because right then he was searching under the bed to dig up some of Piers' dirt.

"How are you doing? I hope you're fine. By the time this video arrives, I might have already met up with you and apologized for not giving out a reply for all those letters. I should've done something about it back then. If I haven't apologized to you yet, let me apologize to you once again. And I promise to you that such a blunder would never happen again from my part." Santa apologized by bowing deeply.

"Ha… It seems like a pre-recorded video. It's not like Santa from the past would know that he would commit a blunder yet again, right?" Jimmy sighed as he focused on the video.

"So anyway. I hope you forgave me from the future for that. However, that's not my concern right now because right now, I'm gonna teach everything… almost everything about the grand system that I built exclusively for you. I call it the Santa system!" The proclamation was followed by a grand performance by the elves to inaugurate the tutorial. No matter how much pissed off Jimmy was, he had to admit that the performance was mighty good.

"They're really organized. It's pleasing to watch." Jimmy mumbled as he watched the performance, which was suddenly interrupted by Santa's poking head.

"Okay, now that that's over, let me formally introduce you to the tutorial session. First of all we're gonna learn about how to call in your status." Santa spoke.

"Cool, I would like to take a peek at the status." Jimmy was kinda excited. Not a lot, but excited in moderation.

"Are you ready for this? Just say… Status. It's that simple. You try it now. Say it and check your status screen. The video will automatically pause until you're ready to watch it again." Santa gave a thumbs up and the video paused at that frame.

"Well, makes sense. I said mission and the mission screen popped out, right?" Since Jimmy said mission twice, the mission screen came in and went back in quick succession. "Shoot… The system's so sensitive towards my words. Status!" Just as he said the words, the status screen popped out.

"Ah, the Karma stat is seriously pissing me off! But, the enchanted gear, huh… I'm slightly intrigued." Once he finished checking the stats, the video automatically resumed.

"I hope you checked out all the stats by now. Anyhow, I'll explain them in detail. All these stats can be raised in two methods- either you do a mission and gain stat points as rewards and allocate the points to your stats or just train your body to increase that particular stat. Like, strength based training to increase strength, reading books to increase intelligence and stuff. Well, there's Karma stat too, which will naturally increase by one point for every five missions you complete. So, you don't have to be concerned about that." Santa shrugged.

"This guy!" Jimmy sighed upon hearing Santa's words. The stat the old geezer asked not to be concerned about… In the end, he bombarded them with points and somehow managed to borrow some as well. "Well, since he borrowed it, he would have an idea about how to allocate it back." Jimmy mumbled. He decided to have a chat with Santa once his anger subsides.

Although in the end, Jimmy was relieved knowing that he can personally develop it if he wants to. Even though relying on the stat points would've been way easier, now that he doesn't have that as a choice, he was more than happy to know that there's an alternative way to gain the stats. Although, he was kinda worried because everything had been going wrong with this system,so he wondered how difficult it would be to raise a point in the individual stat.

"Well, we'll leave the job and titles thingy for now. You'll receive it naturally, so there's no point in explaining it. And now the coins. You see, there's a chance that you'll receive coins when you complete a mission successfully. Store those coins and use them in Santa's exclusive shop where you'll get cool stuff to buy." Santa spoke.

"Hmm… Santa's exclusive shop." Jimmy muttered and the screen popped out right away, right next to the tutorial screen.

[Santa's exclusive shop:

No items available to purchase.]

"Although, there aren't any items right now. We'll put in the items sooner or later. But, I just wanted you to know of its existence." Santa explained.

"You could've just said it later then, when you actually add some stuff into it." Jimmy sighed.

"So, now that's dealt with, shall we talk about the most important part of the status screen?" Santa asked, with an excited look in his face.
