Chapter 92

As he looked up, Timothy realized that if he used the force of the water ball to build up enough momentum, it might be enough for him to utilize the second chapter of the technique to set himself up for a nice counter attack onto his opponent. However, he was still not sure how to land a hit that would do even a little bit of damage.

Knowing that he had found a way out of this uphill battle with a winning record intact, Timothy felt a new wave of energy filling his body. It was actually his Aura of Slaughter that was calling out to his body from his soul, trying to force it to continue moving forward no matter what the cost may be.

After receiving several more hits, Timothy actually began to smile as if he was having fun while facing this very tactful opponent of his. His opponent felt that he may have been going crazy and launched another water ball at him just as she had been all of this time in order to tire him out and win just by having more endurance.

That was exactly what Timothy was waiting for as he hopped up into the air so that the water ball would hit the ground and cause a small force from behind him. The female cultivator understood that something was now terribly wrong as she began forming another water ball. It was too late, because Timothy had finally made his move while using his aura to cover his right fist.

After using the water ball's momentum from the force due to it being blasted into the ground behind and underneath him, Timothy set up his movement technique and somehow pulled it off perfectly even though it was his first time using it as he launched his fist into his opponent's chest. A large mouthful of blood was splattered out as Timothy's opponent was hit off of the stage and was now not even moving.

Those who chose to become silent seeing that they may have lost quite a bit of money by betting on Timothy to win, were now cheering and screaming louder than when the match had begun. All that Timothy could do was hold his fist up in the air because this truly was a win. However, a strange idea rose in his heart. Did he enjoy this moment because the crowd was cheering, or was it because of his aura that longed to be used in endless battles?

He was a very caring individual, but here he was now feeling both glory in winning a very difficult match, and the longing of going against more opponents. It was as if he was unwilling to wait, but Master Sei told him to exit back to the waiting room and hearing his master's voice was enough for the moment for him to calm down and just take his win as he had.

Besides, if he really wanted to, it was not like he did not have a way to enter into more tournaments to his liking, including tournaments that took place in an area the contestants would be transported to. Such areas could be easily created using certain types of treasures and there were plenty available at all times because spectators enjoyed those types of battle royal tournaments the most.

The reason that they were the most popular, was because not only could the winner be anyone who was taking part in the tournament, but there would always be action throughout since there would be a much larger number of contestants who qualified to enter such tournaments. Timothy felt that if he truly wanted to let loose and give his Aura of Slaughter exactly what it wanted, he could apply for such a tournament.

"Did you see that master, I was able to defeat her when it was almost guaranteed at the time that she would be the winner of our match!" Timothy told Master Sei while shadow boxing a bit since that last attack of his made his body feel a little sore. "I just hope that my next opponent will be willing to fight head on instead of using such annoying and unneeded tactics!"

"If you were able to use your earth element in different ways just as she used her water element, you could have pushed her back and would not have been put into such a sorry situation. There is more to battling against others other than slamming your fist into whatever moves and hope that you are able to come out on top!" Master Sei was furious at Timothy's lack of knowledge when it came to being both a warrior and a tactician.

The easiest way to survive in the world, was to understand and utilize many different tactics in order to defeat one's enemies. In the last match, Timothy was able to finally come up with a winning hand, but if it was not for him still having enough energy to tap into his aura, that last attack would have not done anything to his opponent and it would have actually been his loss.

"Look, there is a reason why we used to refer to golems as all brawn and no brain, because if they were unable to use their fists, they were unable to solve any of their problems. I can understand that you have the Bronze Body Physique and that every cultivator has weaknesses, but please try to think a little more logically during battle. It will help you reach immortality that much faster, and you will actually be able to lead countless others as a general type figure." Master Sei pleaded with Timothy.

"I'm sorry Master Sei." Timothy replied with a depressed look on his face as he kowtowed towards his master. "Jacob was unable to spar with me using his element in his attacks so I am just not used to fighting against those who do yet. Next time, I will try to read my opponent a little better so I am not driven into such a state as I am in now."
