Traveling at their full speed through the flag formation, it took only two minutes for their enemies to show themselves and launch a deadly attack against Tyler's group. If it were not for Tyler's uncle defending an attack against him, Tyler would have died immediately from a sneak attack of a poisoned arrow. Two other experts in his group were not as lucky, as their eyes began bleeding out before their heads exploded on the spot, causing everyone else in the group's skin to crawl and hair to jump up in response.
"If you offer your head and everyone present's treasures, we would be willing to allow the rest of your weak group to live to see tomorrow. However, if you deny this request of mine, do not blame us for being impolite with our actions moving forward." A voice rang out from ahead of them, and Tyler couldn't help but to recognize the youth who said these things with confidence. It was of course the young master of the Winged Spiders clan, and to his left and right side were his two Advance stage cultivator followers that his clan spent quite a bit of gold pieces on to hire to help protect him when in the outside world.
"How about we just slash with our weapons as our way of negotiating? I am sure that after spending so many gold pieces on even some mediocre followers, it would be unlikely that a powerful assassin organization would team up with you. Considering the warning shots were of poison arrows, I am going to assume it is the Salamander Poison House that is assisting you right now? Out of all the assassin organizations that were present, they could be considered the lowest tier!" Tyler shouted while he unsheathed his sword from his side.
"They may have been on the lower tier compared to all of the others who we tried to make a deal with, but if compared to the entirety of the Stone Kingdom, they are seen as more average just because they rely on their poison expertise compared to cultivating powerful training manuals or techniques. In reality, their poisons could be considered at the very peak from what our Stone Kingdom has to offer and with their help, it will not be too difficult pulling your Blood Ridge clan down a bit!" Freddy replied while snickering.
From his words, it could be assumed that the deal he made was a much longer term one, compared to only assisting him in the Ancestor's Tomb. Which meant that if Tyler was able to make it back to his clan after this ordeal, he would have to report this partnership to his father so that they could properly deal with any and all consequences that could come from their rival and an assassin organization teaming up to target them.
Not long ago, one of his siblings chose to suppress the same organization on her travels and even went ahead and took many of the executive level poison expert's lives within a single day. This was enough for them to lose the little footing they had in Stone Kingdom, so it was not too surprising that they would retaliate in this way against his clan. One of the many teachings he was given since growing up with his uncle by his side, was that if one chose to destroy an entire group of individuals, that they needed to finish the job.
Many cultivators would learn this lesson unfortunately from experience rather than hearing it from someone older than them. This however, was a golden rule in the outside world, because grudges were made every single day between those who were strong and those who were weaker. It could be considered a grave mistake that his sister made by allowing the organization to not be completely annihilated and now, he was suffering due to such a decision.
"Those of the same flock fly together it seems!" Tyler shouted out before raising his sword over his head. "Attack and do not leave a single one of them alive!" Once he shouted his orders, Tyler and his uncle led the rest of the group forward towards their enemies. Luckily for them, those who were hiding behind Freddy as his guards appeared and began to meet them head on completely removing their advantage of using the black mist to hide.
After an entire hour, both sides suffered many casualties and deaths. Tyler's uncle was now fighting a total of seven experts by himself in order to free up the rest of the group to handle experts in a one on one fight. Still, Tyler realized even when they initially saved the group of experts, that his group was filled with rather mediocre talented individuals. Which meant that it would only be a matter of time before they were completely wiped out.
As he finally landed his killing blow on his opponent, Tyler quickly poured his nature energy into his right hand and sent a large fireball followed by a smaller one above his head and into the sky. He was unsure how durable the flag formation was, but if he was able to have Timothy act, there was still a chance for their side to come out on top. And so as he predicted, the smaller fireball was able to reach outside of the flag formation as it exploded immediately upon exiting.
Seeing the explosion, caused Timothy and his group to head into the black mist without hesitating since the explosion caused three other experts who were also waiting outside in different areas to head into the flag formation as well. There was no telling what was happening, but Timothy felt that after five more minutes, he would just have his group enter into the black mist as well to see what was happening.
As they entered into the black mist, Timothy's group heard the battle that was happening and Timothy shouted his orders for the four to head full speed towards the sound since he was the slowest among them. Hearing his orders, the four Intermediate stage experts quickly utilized different movement techniques that they had mastered in order to make it in time to help Tyler's group against whoever or whatever they were currently facing.
