"Whew... Let's go take a break, I need to regenerate my mana." Roy puffed out, slightly exhausted after using [Enhanced Drill Shot] on all of the guards.
"I have a much better grasp on its limitations now, after using it so many times. Solus, while we wait, take one of the Mana Hearts and absorb it. Sorry, but I'll take the other to recuperate faster." Roy pulled the two Mana Hearts out of his bag, presenting them to Solus.
Taking one of them randomly, Solus thanked Roy, before sitting down and placing it on her chest.
"What did you do af-ter this part?" Solus queried, looking at Roy for guidance.
"Use your mana to create a bridge between the Mana Hearts. After that, start sucking the mana vapor inside, into your own Mana Heart." Giving a simple to understand explanation, Solus immediately began the process.
Roy too, sat down to absorb the remaining one.
...
Around thirty minutes later, Roy stood up, while letting out a breath of air. "There's another eleven percent!" Roy excitedly looked at his mana vapor percentage, now nearing the halfway mark.
"Hmm... It said my Mana Heart would start to destabilize the more I used other's, but I'm not feeling that effect yet?"

Mana Heart Absorption
Destabilization of the Mana Heart through the use of external assistance will happen no matter what, but talent, and affinity play a part in when this point will be reached.
Typically, 3~5 is the limit for lower tiers. This limit shrinks the higher the tier, as the mana within the sacrificed Mana Heart becomes more and more tainted with the laws it houses.
'What, so absorbing Mana Hearts at later tiers becomes impossible?'

Mana Heart Absorption
Unless the affinities are a perfect match, full absorption will eventually be impossible.
Partial absorption of mana from similar Mana Hearts is possible if one or more affinities match, but destabilization is likely.

'Damn, always with the locked info... Well what it did give is useful, so whatever.' Roy then looked over to Solus, to check on her. Solus was getting close to completely absorbing her first Mana Heart.
'When she's done, she'll be able to cast [Scratch] a couple extra times too. I wonder if I should get her to try and create a combo skill...'
...
"All ready!" Solus resolutely said, before looking over to Terren, who had decided to take a nap while they were busy.
Rolling her eyes, Solus walked over to Terren and clapped her hands in front of Terren's face to wake her up.
*Clap!*
"Wha! Who-" Awakening in shock, Terren jerked up as she saw a smirking kobold crouching in front of her.
"Where did all the tension from earlier go? I can't believe you actually fell asleep!" Roy laughed a bit at Terren, before moving over to the crack to make sure their banter hadn't alerted any passerby.
"Well, you guys were taking forever, and it IS super late!" Terren tried to defend herself, but was quickly reminded that she was in an enemy encampment.
Giving Solus a dirty look, while blushing lightly, Terren stood up and walked over to join Roy.
"No goblins have come to replace the guards we killed? I was sure that there would be quite a few after what happened, but it seems their leader really sucks at his job..." Terren was shocked at the lack of security in this village. Especially now, that more than half of them were dead.
"True, but the rest are sleeping together in the village hall. If we kill one, not only the sound of the attack, but even the smell of blood would be enough to wake them up. Honestly I'm a bit stumped on how to deal with the remaining forty of them." Terren rested her head on her hand as she leaned over to think about what Roy had just said.
"That's true, not to mention, that if we get stuck in that building we're goners." Terren replied, in a hushed tone.
"What if we take out the sup-port pillars for the buil-ding? Like Roy told me be-fore, when he need-ed them for his craft-ing." Solus, chiming in with a genius idea, made Roy extremely proud.
"Buhihi! That's my sister!" Roy exclaimed as he pat her head.
"Indeed, if we take out the support beams, we could squash a bunch of them altogether. The issue is doing it all at once, without alerting them..." At this, Roy looked to Solus and Terren. They started to conjure up a plan, which Roy fittingly dubbed "Monster Mash".

*Flutter*
*Rustle*
"Hah... hah..." A small black haired, black winged figure was currently dashing through the forest. Behind it was a small group of speed oriented goblins.
"You can only run for so long!" One of the goblins screamed out in the fairy language, causing the small fairy to push her little wings to their max, in fear.
Looking back for a moment, the small fairy cast a spell on all of her chasers.
"[Slow]!" She yelled out, her bright white eyes being the only thing the goblins could see, before a black haze encompassed them.
*Riip*
As the small fairy was looking back to cast, her wing had caught a branch in a nearby tree, ripping open.
"ARGH!" She screamed in pain, as she fell towards the ground. Losing her stabilization, she had no other option than to cast slow on herself as well, to lessen the impact.
'Shoot! My mana reserves are running way too low now!' She was now slowly heading for the ground, but the impact would still be hard.
*Bang*
Hitting the ground with a roll, she stood up amidst a small dust cloud. Cancelling the spell on herself, she began running while looking for a place to rest and recuperate.
Eventually spotting a cliff, she ran to the edge and looked down. Near the middle of the cliff, there was a small burrow hole just big enough for the small fairy to fit.
"Hopefully there isn't anything in there right now..." The fairy prayed, before jumping down, fluttering her broken wings, she cast [Slow] one last time to make sure her trajectory stable and correct.
