Chapter 2 First Sight?

Noah's POV

Being in all my classes felt like a hell dungeon to me. When I'm away from Elle I feel like I'm missing something that could be remarkable. As a parent, you always want to be there for every moment even if it's something that doesn't matter.

When she grows up I'm gonna be the type of parent that tells the stuff she did when she was little over and over again.

Professor Griffin was lecturing about our assignment that was part of our semester grade. It was almost time to go and I couldn't be more ecstatic. I really don't have friends up here even though it's college and you don't need friends. My sister is my best friend.

The bell rings and Professor Griffin dismisses us for the day. I couldn't be happier because it's Thursday and I don't have classes on Fridays.

Packing up my things, I slid my backpack over my shoulder and blended in with the students until my professor called after me. Why does he want to mess with me? I was this close to walking to freedom.

Turning around to face him, he motions me to sit in an empty seat in front of his desk. I sit down in the seat and he walks around his desk, leaning on the edge of the desk with an emotionless face.

Why is he looking at me like I just cheated off a test?

The room was quiet and all the sound was coming from outside of the classroom. "You're a very bright student Noah and you are passing my class, but being late is unacceptable." He finally spoke.

If he knew what I go through every day then he would understand why I show up to class 3 minutes late. It's not even that deep but he makes it seem like I walk in the class an hour late.

"Sorry I'll try to show up on time." I gave him a pleasant smile.

Professor Griffin is a great looking man. A little old for me but still looked good for his age. Ew, that was kinda gross if you think about it.

"I really care about my students and if you have anything you want to talk about my door is always open." He said giving me a encouraging smile.

He really thought that I was going to express all my problems to him. I don't like going around telling people about my background and I hate when people feel sympathy for me.

"Thank you, sir." I thank him and he nods, dismissing me so I could leave.

When I left his classroom someone called after me. Why can't people just leave alone? I turn around to see Cameron jogging up to me with a bright smile on his face.

Cameron is the only person that acknowledges me in this school except for the teachers. "Me and some friends are going out and I wanted to see if you want to come with us?"

This was the first time that someone has invited me somewhere with a group of friends. I want to go home to see Elle and I have too much responsibility at home than to go out.

"Sorry I can't have things to do at home." I said and he sighs like he lost a million dollars.

"Well, that's okay I'll see you Monday yeah?" I nodded and smiled, turning around to walk out the door.

Walking off campus, I pull out my phone to check my messages to see if Christiana got my 20th message. I know I'm a worried person but I'm just trying to make sure my daughter and my sister are out of harm.

Christina sent me a picture of Elle and I almost cried. All this stuff happening and I'm not there to see it.

Putting my phone away, I walked down the street to the Cafè I go to every day to get my coffee from. The owner and I go way back to when I was a Freshman in College and she would always welcome me with open arms.

My phone vibrates in my pocket and I took it out, examining the text message. I didn't release that I bump into a hard chest making me fall to the ground with a thud.

Security started swarming around him but he pushed them back, telling them that it was okay.

What the hell? He is supposed to be a celebrity because I damn sure don't know who he is. "You should watch where you look beautiful." He chuckles having my whole body vibrate. The mysterious man held his hand out for me but I denied his help.

When I finally got up, I took sight of his features. Black Raven hair, light brown eyes, and nose piercings. This man looked like a drug dealer.

His eyes roam my body and I snap my fingers in front of his face to get his attention. "Uh hello, my face is up here buddy."

He grins like I said something cute. "You have a nice body and I couldn't help to stare." My body is shaped like a toothpick what the hell is talking about?

"Uh thanks." I said awkwardly. He just stares at me like I was supposed to flirt with him back or something. Come to think of it he does look familiar but I just can't put my finger on it.

"What's your name beautiful?" He asks, trying to make conversation but I wasn't into him flirting with me.

"None of your damn business." I spat at him with a harsh tone.

"Damn it's like that?" He asked me with a hurt tone. "I compliment you and you're going to do me dirty." It's obvious he doesn't get the memo that I wasn't interested in him. This is why I'm single because people can't come up to a regular person and have a nice conversation without them eye raping you.

"Yeah, it's like that and can you please move out the way before I knock you out." I said pushing him out the way then out of nowhere reporters were flashing pictures blinding the hell out of me.

Trevor Trevor Trevor is that your new boyfriend?

His who?!

I felt someone picking me up then placing me in a car. The man got in himself, closing the door behind him. Is he kidnapping me?!

I started to scream while banging on the window.

I'm too young to die and I want to watch my daughter grow up and be a strong independent woman. Christina can't be left alone by herself because we are basically the same person.

The man touches my shoulder and I flinch from his touch. "Don't fucking touch me! I can drop kick your ass." He started to laugh hysterically and I looked at him like he was crazy.

Oh no, he on some crazy shit and he might murder me while laughing.

"I'm not going to hurt you unless you want me to." He said and I screamed louder as I tried to open the door but it won't open. Why does he have childproof doors?!

"I'm just kidding." He said laughing some more. What kind of person would joke about that? This man needs help.

My heart started to go back to its normal pace. "Can you take me home?" I pleaded him with desperation in my voice.

"Until we lose the media so they won't know where you live." He told me and I nodded. It was about 10 minutes until they stopped following us. I just want to go home and sleep the day away.

It was quiet in the car until he cut the silence. "For real what is your name?" He asks me again and I turn to him, scowling at him.

"None of your business sir."

"Do I look old to you? And I'm not bothered by you calling me sir." He said to me and I felt like I wanted to puke. He likes that type of stuff?

I bet he's on some kinky shit.

"Yes because you just kidnapped me and a pedophile would ask questions like that."

"I'm pretty sure you have to be underage and I'm 23." He said like he was proud of himself.

"You want a cookie for it?" I snorted at him.

"Sure as long as I can get into your cookie jar." That was when I drew the line. Once he drops me off I hope I never see this man again ever in my life.

"Look here sir you're going to drop me off then never see this face again. If I see you again I'm punching you." I threatened him and he looked unfazed by my threat.

"I have never met someone like you. Do you have anger issues?" He said and I opened my mouth then closed it. At this point, I just ignored him the entire time.

When he dropped me off he started to ask for my number and I quote 1-800 leave me the hell alone. Again he thought it was the funniest thing in the world. Does he take medication.

Opening up the door, I walked inside and Elle ran up to me with her hair everywhere. "Dada!" She squeals, making my mood go better. She grabs my hair into her hands, gripping it tightly.

"Okay let go of Dada's hair." I said to her nicely and she shook her head no. I sigh, walking into the living room where my sister was looking at both of us.

"I was doing her hair but when she heard your voice she ran out of the room." Christiana shakes her head then eyes Elle.

"She just excited to see her father and leave her alone." I said, hugging her tightly. She huffs, taking Elle out of my arms then placing her between her legs again.

"Did you find a job?" I sat down next to them. Christiana brushes the back of Elle's head and she whines. "Elle stop being a drama queen I didn't even brush your head that hard."

"Yes, you did." She pouts and Christiana rolls her eyes, turning to me.

"Yes, I found a job and they hired me on the spot because they wanted workers really bad and I also found a daycare for Elle. It's close to my job and if something happens to her I can be there quickly."

That's great for the most part, but I still don't trust those people with my daughter. Elle starts to cry and I pick her up and she stops crying when I hold her in my arms.

Christiana's mouth went wide. "Next time you want your hair comb ask your Dad." She pointed the brush at us then got up from her seat. You should know something about Elle is that you have to give her something that can distract her. I guess she doesn't know how to fully be a parent.

Sitting her down in her stool, I turned on the TV and then walked into the kitchen where Christiana was eating a grape. I grab me one, putting it in my mouth.

"You're not cleaver when it comes to doing her hair." I grinned while putting another grape in my mouth.

"I think she prefers you to do everything." She mumbles then tosses her hair back. I see where she is coming from.

"When you have a child then you will know the secrets." I told her and she shakes her head.

"I'm not having children. Babysitting Elle all the time is hard work."

"Anyways how was your day?" She asks me while sticking another grape in her mouth. I don't want to tell her that I was slightly kidnapped by some crazy man. Christiana already worries about the littlest things.

"It was alright just a normal day and I'm glad that I don't have to go back to school until Monday." I shrugged, not really looking at her because she senses when I'm lying or not.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you that you have to take Elle to the doctor tomorrow." She reminded me and I groaned.

Taking Elle to the Doctor is the worst experience ever. She doesn't like the environment or the people that touch her the wrong way. "Is it?" I whined.

"Yes, and it's her yearly checkup and stop being a baby and be a father." She pushes me out of the way.
