He sighed, "okay, it was  a mistake Bella, i apologise." he replied sincerely, he should not take advantage of her childlike innocence.

Alex walked towards Bella and the man who had put a knife on his neck. He was surprised to see the man who was smirking just a while ago was pale and lying on the floor, but strangely he did not see Bella doing anything.

"Bella, are you okay?" he asked her as he reached just behind her but the girl did not reply, her eyes were still set on the man who was shivering out of fear.

"Save.. save me, please please save me." he started pleading with Alex. He even forgot that he had put a knife on the same man's neck just a few moments ago.

Alex furrowed his brows, he was in doubt that the man was afraid of something before but now he was sure that was the case but strangely he did not see anything that could make him this much scared. Even Bella was just sitting there and staring at him, nothing else.

It's not like he could be afraid of her eyes, could he? Her eyes were the most beautiful he had ever seen.
