To Kill A God (2)

From that day, a scholar travelled the realm with a woman. They moved across all places in the light realm. She sometimes spoke and he listened and he sometimes spoke, provoking her scorn. This carried on for several centuries without stop, till they returned to the central plains. When she set eyes on the boy she had seen years ago, she paused.

“What is this?” she asked and Ed glanced at the All-seer who had not aged much in centuries.

“Oh, it will be bad if he died so quickly. He is my student, I haven’t managed to teach him anything because we were travelling.” he said. Only then, did she look back at him with a frown.

“True, you too have not aged.” she said and Ed swung his fan as he fanned away the heat and her pupil shrunk. She then broke into laughter thereafter, causing those on the street to pause and look their way.
