The trip

When looking at her painting, one could not help thinking of a beautiful dawn, with the sun rays creeping over the horizon, painting the sky with subtle pallet of coral and pink and peachy glow.

This painting was a landscape inside a face portrait of an Maasai girl. It had so many aspects in it that drew the viewer closer, sunrise with a herd of cows going out to the field and yet the face portrait was detailed with a traditionally adorned delicate Maasai girl, yet on one side of the horizon, a glimpse of the city could be seen.

It was amazing how Ceri was able to capture all this details in one.

Seems like the idea she submitted had evolved from the original to two pictures in one. Still she easily won and was on the way to Country S.

This was a dream... she always wanted to travel abroad...
