“What happened Ceri? Who did this to you? You have to tell daddy so I can help you.!” 

How was she to tell him that she did not even know who the father was?  

Ceri looked down in defeat and shame. 

Mr Mariba would not let his daughter suffer shame and being outcasted, he would send his daughter away in the meantime to save her. 


 A fictional african Story. 

Will getting pregnant out of wedlock father unknown, outcasted from the community she grew up be the end of her? 

Ceri is determined to prove otherwise. Will she change the mindset that has been there for ages?

African Love

"I have booked a flight back for tonight Mr Erik, While Metta seems to really enjoy his time here, I have use up all my vacation days at work, I need to get back and start working on your project" 


"Also I have to g we in touch with my father as I am certain he is worried as I always call and they have calls with Metta every couple of days" As a matter of fact he was supposed to visit us yesterday and I do not want him to be overly concerned due to our absence.  There is no way for me to inform him of our safety so I definitely need to go. 


"There is something i need to show you, come this way " Erik led Ceri to the main house and brought an old album. 


They sat down tog we her with Metta and started looking at the album together. 


Ceri had a puzzled look as she continued to look at the pictures, Erik was just looking at her silently. Would she recognize anything? Would the pictures seem familiar to her? 


Would she ask any questions thus opening a chance for him to tell her? 


"Mom, mom!! How did my pictures get in here? Did you bring them? And why are there two of me in this pictures, you have never shown me this mom" Metta was so excited " And who is this and this holding me?" He asked pointing to the couple in one of the pictures.
