Chapter 21

They arrived at a 7-11 directly across from the heavily guarded entrance to the Langley Base. John, Sasha, Sherlock, and Detective Garrett fueled up. The cars got gas and they got food which resulted in them getting wild gas as well. It was kinda funny.

As they relieved the gas from their bodies, the cars began to stink horribly so they had to exit them quickly before the toxic smell overwhelmed them.

John and Detective Garrett discussed a plan if Agent Jones showed back up and they also determined the best way to attempt entry into the base.

Detective Garrett said, "Well, I'm going to roll up to the gate, show the guard my badge, and let him know that I have a young girl for detention."

John grew worried, "What if that fails? What will you do?"

Scratching her head, "Well, it won't fail. It will not fail."

Sasha got in the car with Detective Garrett as she was saying a quick prayer. The protection she needed would have to be out of this world. With the engine running and the anxiety reaching levels of insanity, Detective Garrett drove towards the guard checkpoint.

While handcuffed, Detective Garrett pulled up to the guard that was holding a large weapon, "Good evening sir, I've got one for special detention."

The guard looked at the badge, "This is a North Carolina badge. Who told you to come here? What does special mean?"

Without a hesitation, "Sir, General Johnson instructed me to bring this prisoner to Langley so she could be held in the special detention center. If you want to call him and wake him up to earn yourself potty duty then be my guest."

The guard let go of his radio. He had been on potty duty before and it stunk, literally, "Ma'am, please proceed to the detention center. I apologize for the inconvenience."

Pulling through the opening gate, "How did you know that would work Detective Garrett? You just pulled a random name out of your bag of tricks?"

Smiling, "I sure did. Johnson is a very common name and most soldiers don't know the names of everyone in their chain of command. It was a well calculated gamble my dear."

They drove down a long desolate road. Nothing on either side except for barbed wire covered fencing. If someone figured out what was really going on then they were dead meat.

Pulling up in front of the only building they could see, their stomachs dropped.

This was going to be a challenge like never before.
