The First God

"What can I help you with?"

"I need to be able to save my friends and teammates, Mika and Luca are here. Tell me how I can help them. How am I supposed to fight them off and get everyone to safety?"

"You must not know…"

"Know what?"

"Those with royal blood are more powerful than those without. While I'm not sure how you'll fend against your brothers, I am certain you can take care of their lackeys."

"Really? So royals are better fighters then?"

"I wouldn't say better fighters. Royals are descendant from the first god and she was a great fighter."

"You said you're as old as the first god, are you a descendant?"

"No, the first god created me just like she did with the other gods." I look at the girl confused. "Since you have your memories I guess it's only fair I tell you about her. She created the earth for the earth gods, wind for the wind gods, fire for the fire gods, and water for the water gods. She created everything around us. She used her blood to make the gods, for instance, she combined water and her blood to make the first water gods who we call the royals."

"What about the other gods, the ones that aren't royalty, and what's the difference between you and royals?"

"She just created them using the elements without blood, now throughout eons, the magic has evolved, there are different types of magic but they all belong to one of the elements. As for me, I am not the only spirit, the first god made many of us from the elements but she tasked us with different things and made it so we can't die."

I hear yelling and remember the fight. "How does this help me? I'm glad to know more about my past and everything, but I need to help someone."

"Do you believe everything I've told you, everything you've seen, and everything you've heard?"

To be honest, I'm not sure. I know about the stories, but for them to be true? Although, I was able to stay in the lava for some time and I dont have any burns or anything. "I don't know."

"That's how you can save them. You have to believe me, trust everything you heard and saw, you are a princess and goddess, but not just an ordinary one."

"What about Trinity? She said I had to come into the volcano to save everyone, is she a god?"

"Trinity? That name doesn't sound familiar. How did she know about this, I wonder." She turns away and mumbles something to herself, she's having a whole conservation to herself.

"Okay. I believe you. While a lot of this is questionable, I can't deny how long I was in the lava and came out without any burns."

The girl turns around to smile and nod, I hear a high pitch ringing and my head hurts. I grab my head as I fall to the ground, I can feel the girl grab onto me.

The area around me changes and before I know it, I'm in front of the volcano and there's lava pouring out from it. I look around to see if I can find anyone but there's no one here. "Do you believe her? Or are you saying that in hopes of not hurting her feelings?" A voice, but no one's here I can't see anyone. "It would be wise to believe everything you've witnessed. Though it may be hard to believe, there's no reason to lie to you."

"Who are you?"

"You are of royal blood; therefore you're more powerful than all the other gods. Unfortunately, you don't believe in the first god, until you're able to do that small thing you won't be able to save your friends."

"What are you talking about?"

"The first god was a warrior, a fighter; she was talented when it came to combat. When she created the royals she gave them her abilities in combat. Such as strength, stealth, agility, and endurance, until you believe in her you won't have those enhanced skills."

"All I have to do is believe that she existed?"

"No! She still exists, she's still alive, and she's all around us. Another benefit of being a royal is that you can sense her; if you concentrate on your surroundings and are quiet enough you can feel her presence. She created everything around us; she put her life force into everything."

I'm quiet for a moment. "I don't know, I heard of the stories about all this stuff but for it to be real? If gods and demons are real why has no one seen any and I've never heard of the first god until very recently."

"Humans don't know about the first god, not even all the gods do. If you want to save your friends this is how you do it. Don't believe just for the sake of your friends, we need you to believe. You need to believe so you can stop your brothers."

"Okay, I'll concentrate on my surroundings and I'll try to sense her presence. I'll do whatever it takes to save my friends."

"Good."

Everything changes and I'm inside the volcano, I look around and see the girl holding onto me. "Another spirit." She says as I look at her. "You didn't believe me, so they tried to convince you otherwise." I nod before sitting up. I look around the inside of the volcano absorbing every detail around me, hearing every noise, smelling every scent. That's when I feel it. I jump up and smile. "You felt her, didn't you?"

"I did, it was brief but it was like this warm gust of air wrapping around me."

"That's her, she may not be here physically but you can feel her. Do you believe me?"

"I'm still not sure; however there is one thing I believe in. I need your help."

The girl nods. "I can't leave this area, but I'll do all I can to help." The girl disappears and I run up the stairs, I look around to see the girl standing where I climbed up. "I can help you get down." Suddenly, the rocks around me move and I get launched into the air, I look behind me to see the girl is gone again.

A few moments later I start falling towards the ground faster than I can think of what to do, I feel something wrap around me, and I'm not falling as fast. It must be Trinity; she probably used her magic so I wouldn't hit the ground as hard. I see Trinity and as soon as she looks up at me I drop, luckily I land on my feet.

Trinity has my brothers distracted so I go for the group of men, I can tell that I'm running faster and I don't struggle as much when fighting. After a few minutes, I manage to take out all of their men and dogs. I run over to where Trinity is, it's just the four of us now. She's on the opposite side of where I am and my brothers are in between us. A rock appears in front of Trinity and it surrounds her quickly without any way of escaping.
