Old and New Family -L-

Tatyanna's reaction was hilarious, she fell on her butt and I just walked out looking like a badass. Satisfaction like that won't be achieved many times in your life. Now, to deal with Dylan, Tia and Alex... and the other problem.

This only works if, either dad is alive, one of my parent's parents are alive or one of their siblings is alive. Or.

I have a sibling or cousin I didn't know about.

But first up is Dylan, Tia and Alex.

I guess the junkyard would be the best place. I wonder if the car yard in Den Dolder is still there. The world map did change, how it changed without earthquakes? No clue. Put it up to the magic. Right, now I just need to te-

*bzzt*

Mother already knows. What did she say though?

{Mum: Linde Dear~ If you need to do something with friends come over with them, the last time you had friends over was Lamar's Daughter, Ellery.}

Ellery huh, it has been a while hasn't it. Maybe I should text her later? Yeah, I will. But I won't come home, this shouldn't be dealt with there. Alex, Tia and Dylan all finally find me, just outside the school entrance I raise an eyebrow before smiling.

"You're late."

"Sorry Mistress."

""Sorry.""

They say their 'Sorry's then we depart for Den Dorden.

-----

An hour or so of walking and, we're here. Hmm. The distance between the cars is further but we can just do this in an RV. The Junkyard itself is around the size of a football field with all sorts of cars scattered around the place, ranging from RVs, Sedans, even a Lamborghini or two.

Walking over to a decently sized RV with tan coloring, also known as mine and Ellery's hideout. I find the door and stop. Looking at the lock I peek through and examine it for a little before scoffing.

'Weak locks. I could do this with a hairpin.'

"Tia, do you have a hairpin?"

"Eh?"

Startled by the question she takes a moment before realizing what I said and checking her bag, after a few seconds of looking around she takes out and hands me a red hairpin. The design is simple, but effective. It takes me less than a minute to open the lock and stuff it in my pocket. Handing Tia the hairpin, I then walk into the RV.

The RV has a few splotches here and there, from our coffee spills no doubt. The RV has red-brown mahogany cabinets lined along the top of the side opposite the door. To the right of the door is a mini-kitchen of a porcelain/marble mix counter, set with ten different dark blue pans and pots, a kettle with red lotuses on it and a few other things including plastic cups. I spot the brown leather couch-beds opposite each other in the middle of the RV.

Below the cabinets from earlier are two soft looking black chairs locked into the ground. Between the two is a table made of processed oak.

'Ellery always did brag about her ability to name trees.'

My expression sinks slightly, but I recover it and move over to the couch-bed. I sat down and saw the weirded out expressions of the three. I smile at this and then gesture to the couch opposite me. Tia, Dylan and Alex sit there.

"Right then, first, we need to sort out Dylan."

He raises an eyebrow and opens his mouth, I interrupt him with a raised hand.

"I'll explain what happened as I saw it, Alex and Tia will fill in the blanks from there. Capiche?"

They nod. I begin explaining what I saw and what happened for me. At the end of my explanation, Dylan has his head buried in his hands, Tia is looking down and Alex would be expressionless if not for the angry glint in her eye.

"I'll let you think about it for a while."

I get up and leave the RV.

'Time to confirm my suspicions about the blood vision.'

Activating my Blood Vision everything goes black, white... and red.

Around the junkyard I see hundreds if not thousands of red bundles everywhere. I could see them in the shape of rats, mice, some cats, even a few.

Humans?

No, there's a tail and ears on most of them. But they're in a corvette, huddled up with each other. The blood flow is slow. That's not good.

I start walking over to the sedan only to hear a familiar shout, making me turn off my blood vision and avert my eyes from the dark blue corvette.

"LINDE! YOU LITTLE BRAT GET OUT!"

I turn to see a scruff man with an average build and his face decorated with a ginger beard, rounded features and hair and deep ocean eyes. Frederick Inshini. The 'Junk Police'. Narrowing my eyes I stand still as he approaches me.

'Junk Police shouldn't be here today, why the hell is he here?'

*KREE*

A creaking noise attracts the attention of Junk Police, when his eyes land on the corvette they glint dangerously and he shouts.

"THERE YOU ARE DAMNED BRATS."

I glance over and see a child with white hair, cat ears and blue eyes peek out before narrowing and hurrying back down. Well, never thought I'd get a reason to beat him up. My mind goes to my skills and I remember one causing my eyes to shine.

'If this doesn't work, at least it'll get his attention.'

I inhale.

"Hey Geezer!"

His gaze snaps toward me with wild eyes. I raise my hand and mutter.

"Blood Drain."

...

The awkward moment of it not working caused him to focus on me and charge. Each step he makes looks to me, like he's in mud. Walking at a slow pace. I don't know if it's the strength stat or something to do with my race. But for now, it's useful. I run towards him and his expression turns shocked slowly. He takes out something and I run faster at the sight of it.

A Race Pill.

Arriving just as he's about to eat it, I kick it out of his hands. It falls near the RV. Watching Junk Police in slo-mo I move from where he was going to grab. After thinking for a second about where to kick, my conclusion reached, I nod resolutely with a mischievous glint in my eyes.

The next second, I kick him in the crotch. As hard as I can. The slo-mo disappears as Junk Police falls and passes out.

Turning towards the corvette I see heads looking over. A black-haired one, the white-haired one, two blonde and a brown-haired one.

I give them a smile and they hide shyly. Walking over I crouch enough to meet their head height at the window.

"Hello."

The childish, soft and cute voice of the smallest demi-human pierces my heart. All that comes to my mind about these little ones is 'Cute'. Thinking about it for a second I nod. Pointing to my RV I ask them,

"Do you want to come stay there?"

They look hesitant, very hesitant. None of them even wants to leave the car. Or, is it something else. Last time I just saw a bunch of blood huddled together, but what about now. My eyes glow red and they seem to be slightly scared. I make a calming gesture, then look with the vision and spot what I think is the reason they won't leave.

It's a wolf.

It was hidden at an angle before, but now it's clear. In the backseats of the corvette, is a bleeding wolf. I open the backseats door and they open the door and walk in front of me, protecting it.

'I guess the Junk Police injured the wolf huh.'

Picking up the smallest one, a blonde demi-human that looks to be a half-human, half-fox. I smile and put them back on the front seat. I walk back to the others and crouch down, their heights are maybe a little over a meter, they aren't tall and they look malnourished. The fact that these kids live like this in our world, that multiple kids do.

It's disgusting.

I smile at them and speak softly.

"You care for the wolf right?"

They nod vigorously. How energetic for these kids, they must have been healed to some extent by the race pill.

"Right then, let me get to the wolf and I'll help them out. Is that okay for you?"

One bites their lips while the others look hesitant.

"Do it."

A meek, coarse voice comes from the brown-haired child. This world is disappointing. I move in and look at the wounds. There's a gash from a knife of some sorts going from their abdomen to near their spine.

I look at my status.

I mutter.

"Let's hope this works."

I put my hand on their abdomen and speak.

"[Manipulate Blood]"

The difficulty hits me immediately. The mental strength it takes for this is immense, but I can do it. I begin the arduous task of stabilizing the wolf.

-----Tia's View-----

I sigh, this is, jeez. First, me and Alex get attacked, then Alex gets turned into a Vampire, then we meet Miss Linde and Dylan.

I let out a sigh. This has been a day.

*Knock knock*

The knocking on the door sounds light but in the RV it echoes. Hearing it, Alex's eyes light up and she walks over and opens the door. Then her expression freezes. Confused I walk over.

"Alex?"

I ask questioningly. I stand next to her and see why she froze. Miss Linde is there.

Carrying a wolf.

With four cat-people around her.

With a blonde little cat-girl on her shoulders.

What the hell?
