Episode 22

"Janet tell the research and design department that I am coming to collect the new design today." Rafay ordered her getting up from his seat and putting on his coat.

"Okay sir."

Richard was waiting as usual below and once he saw Rafay coming he opened the car door for him. Once he was seated he too sat and they drove off.

"How are Richard now a days? How are your children and wife?" He asked.

"They are fine sir. Just the children's are complaining that I don't give them enough time now a days." Richard replied looking at the rear mirror of the car.

"Hmm.. once the company launches its new designs in the conference then take a week off. Go to some good place. Have a good vacation." Rafay offered him.

"No sir. I have work here. It was generous of you to say that." Richard politely declined.

"I insist Richard and don't worry the whole weeks leave will be paid." Rafay said.

"As you say sir." Richard smiled.

Once they reached the centre Rafay asked Richard to wait outside while he went inside.

Sitting with the team of research and design Rafay understood the whole functionality of the machine which was made. It's speciality was its design. It was new and modern design which was easy to handle. It's was portable and could be used anywhere. Today's modern women will love it.

"It's definitely the best design for a mixer grinder." Rafay appreciated the teams hard work.

"Thank you sir." They replied to him.

"I will take the sample with me and give it to the production manager. If any problem arises I want you guys to resolve it as fast as possible. I am going to ask the marketing department to announce its launch soon." Rafay anticipated.

Once he was done with the arrangement he reached back to his office. He was in a good mood today. He was going to take his company to new heights with his latest launch so he did not wanted any mistakes till then.

Meanwhile...

"I don't understand how come Elnaz completed the excel sheet on time." Janet pondered eating her zero calories sandwich.

"Yeah she is brilliant right. She is smart that's why understood in one go what I explained her. Little errors where there but I help her sort it out. For the beginners she was excellent." Joey remarked drinking his hot coffee.

"You helped her?" Janet asked astonished.

"Yeah I did. Any problem?" He asked her looking around.

"No. I just wanted to teach her a lesson. You should have asked me before helping her. At least I would have gotten a chance to insult her. But there she was shining like a bright star wit her job done.." she whispered to him annoyed.

"What are you? A wanton who is let loose and wants revenge even from the innocent? It seems that Elnaz has put your pants on fire. Calm down and don't go all to harsh on her. I will handle Elnaz." Joey remarked.

"You remember that you are here to help me out right? Instead you are all but praises to her." She gritted.

"Whatever." Joey rolled his eyes.

"Tell me one thing did she put your pants on fire. Tell me?" She looked at him suspiciously.

"Enough of your stupid discussion Janet. We are not here to discuss my love life." Joey grumbled. Hearing him she finally kept quiet and focused on her sandwich.

'Literally women.' He thought annoyed.

"Look there is no need to make faces alright. I just want Rafay to myself that's why I am mad at her." She reasoned looking how annoyed he was.

"Yeah you will have him but please give me some peace." He sighed.

Days passed by as the distance between Rafay and Elnaz grew by thanks to the team ship of Janet and Joey. They two worked remarkably in order to give birth to misunderstandings between them. It was actually easy for them as the communication between Rafay and Elnaz was little to nothing.

The news of Firdaus being pregnant had bought happiness to everyone. Her mother wanted to be present for Firdaus in order to take care of her during pregnancy but her in-laws were too good that she didn't had concern about any mistakes during such sensitive time. Her husband and parents were taking good care of her.

There were times when Rafay would witness Joey and Elnaz together laughing or sometime having tea together sharing lunch at times. He had started ignoring Elnaz now. If he had to give any work to her he would tell Janet to do it. If Elnaz would have any doubts or if she had to report her tasks she was sent directly to Janet. Hardly there were times when he would listen Elnaz out.

The whole office had become busy with the upcoming launch which was in two weeks time. Even Elnaz's learned from tip to toe the systems how an organisation should work in order to ensure better performance. With in a month her period of internship was going to come to an end and she would return back to India.

Although Both of them were oblivious to ending period of internship as they were busy with the ongoing work. Elnaz's had quiet brilliantly learned how a team should work with proper co-ordination.

If anything she thought that She could not be anything like Rafay as he was a great leader who would lead a team in better way.
