"But see, in the middle there is a dragon, there are no high dragons, dragons are very powerful creatures, if there were still a high dragon, it would be able to rule half of the continent. And on the left I see a demon, actually, by the presence that emanates I'd say it's a high demon, but it doesn't carry any visible marks on its body, which can only mean one thing." Tuatha reflected for a while.

"What?" Nicola hoped to find out more about this man, he had found that he could absorb the energy of that feathery scale and become stronger, but at the same time he found that there was a chance of mutation, maybe with more of these scales he could increase the probability of mutation and suffer a unique atavism again, increasing its own demonic bloodline.

"He can only be a demon ancestor much higher in the bloodline hierarchy, without suffering any atavism, he must be close to the supreme demon ancestor, even his sub-race is totally unknown to me." He said.

"En" Nicola nodded understanding where he was going. "If this demon was so powerful, how did he still end up here on this military base, subordinating himself to a realm other than the Demon Empire?" He raised the question.

"I don't know, but we can leave it to find out after gathering everything that's stored inside here, let's split up and see what we've found in this hall. I'll go to these pedestals and you'll go to the thrones. Be careful Nicola!" Tuatha said as he headed towards the items trapped in boxes.

As the three men honored here were very powerful, at no time did they place very complex defense formations around those boxes, just cleaning and maintenance formations. This was a very common feature of the arrogance of armies, thinking that no one would possess the ability to steal items that were in front of them, and this is what made it easy for Tuatha to dismantle and open those boxes to study the contents.

Inside those transparent boxes were all kinds of things. What attracted Tuatha the most were the books, which were certainly very precious as they were kept in a place like this, perhaps some secrets about the ancient Crowd Kingdom or why it fell. The language was unknown to him, however, he could spend some time looking for books or scholars that would teach him this lost language.

Like the gold level beasts cores on the wall's, the preserved objects couldn't be below. It was really a gold mine there, many items classified at the gold level.

There was a small lotus flower made of pure fire, the flower twirled and floated in the air, it looked weak but kept alive, like a growing baby. A set of feathers from a Thunderbird, a race even rarer than phoenixes and on the brink of extinction, vibrated with electricity inside the box. A perfect cube, made of an unfamiliar greenish metal, floated in another.

The mana crystals were divided into categories, from the lowest quality, through the medium and high quality. They usually had a black color that was caused by absorbing various types of mana and had no fixed attributes. But there was another type of mana crystal, which varied in color, going from red, orange, yellow, green, cyan, indigo, violet and white.

Unlike the black mana crystals, they did not have a mix of energies within them, on the contrary, they had a neutral energy that made them capable of feeding any creation much better, as they could be guided to potentiate only the elements in which they they were imbued. These crystals were not used as coins, because of the greater difficulty in getting them, they were all rarer than the black crystals. But even so some noble families and large sects had some of these in their assets.

All of them could only be found in equipment and arrangements of Gold Star level and above. They were organized in the order of power they could leverage, from red that doubled the equipment's capacity, orange, yellow, green, cyan, indigo and finally violets, which could make an incomparably powerful weapon, only those in the apex of the gold level could carry one of these. Finally, there was a myth about excellent quality white mana crystals that could only be held by diamond-level cultivators.

Tuatha was standing in front of one of these gems, what floated in front of him was a cyan mana crystal, any gold level power would die in a fight trying to acquire that crystal. Even the countries would turn this crystal into royal treasures used only in times of great urgency.
