Chapter 28 - Going to Tokyo

A few days had passed, and Kiyoshi decided to have a few days off from work and go to Tokyo to pay his uncle and his family a visit. But suddenly, he was struck with an idea that he should invite Daku Kamada with him to see Tokyo for the first time. He then made a call to Daku, who was sitting at home, and told him of the visit. Daku was skeptical at first, but he eventually agreed, asking him when the visit will occur.

"By tomorrow at 7 in the morning," Kiyoshi answered back positively. "Let's meet at the train station. We will ride a bullet train there."

"Sure, but you will pay, right?" Daku raised a question.

"Yes, I will."

"Okay, I'll ask my employer if he will give me a few days off."

"Okay, that'll be great. Okay, have a nice day, bye."

"Bye."

He and Kiyoshi then ended their conversation on the phone.

The next day came, and at the train station in Hiroshima, Kiyoshi was waiting for Daku to come to him. And then, after much waiting, Daku came to him with a roller bag full of his belongings. He then apologized to Kiyoshi, asking him if he made him wait for long.

"No, it's okay," Kiyoshi responded back positively. "The train will leave at 7, so we will arrive at Tokyo at 11, one hour before lunch time."

"Okay then. Let's go."

Kiyoshi then smiled at him, before he and Daku went up into the station with their luggage in tow.

Later, at the bullet train to Tokyo, both men saw the wonders of the countryside, including the rice fields and mountains.

"Wow, I have never been out of the city before," Daku remarked. "This is…so beautiful."

"Yes, it is," replied Kiyoshi back with a positive smile on his face. "I've been doing this for a couple of times."

"Oh, okay then. Also, my employer granted me a few days off from work."

"That's great."

But what Kiyoshi didn't know is that Daku will be overprotective towards him in the future, believing that Kiyoshi was the only person in the world he can talk to.
