Chapter 34 - Daku's pov

Daku's pov

Later, me and Kiyoshi are at a subway train on the way back to Kiyoshi's uncle's house. We were sitting on our seats, and Kiyoshi was reading a book in one hand and hold the paper bag containing our purchases in another. Looking at him, I thought in my mind, "Wow, going on a shopping spree with him was…so much fun. I…really liked him so much."

At 11:22 a.m., we arrived at the station that is near to Kiyoshi's uncle's house, and the doors were opened. Me and Kiyoshi then stand up, grabbed our belongings, and get off the train, and went to the ground-leveled floor via the escalator. After we passed through the ticket gates, we exited the station and walked our way to Kiyoshi's uncle's house, which was a couple of blocks away from the station.

Shortly thereafter, we arrived at that house, and opened the front door while greeting Kiyoshi's aunt, "We're home."

His aunt, who was preparing for lunch, saw us coming home, and greeted, "Welcome back, you two. How's your time together?"

While we were taking off our shoes, I answered back, "W-We were having a great time."

"Yes, and we went in a bit of a shopping spree at the mall," Kiyoshi added positively while he and I went through the living room.

"Ah, I see," Kiyoshi's aunt responded back. "What did you two bought?"

"Some stationery items," Kiyoshi replied back, "as usual."

"Oh, okay."

After that, Kiyoshi looked at me and said, "Let's upstairs, Daku-san."

Looking at his positive face, I let out a slight smile, "Okay."

And so, me and Kiyoshi went upstairs with our paper bag of purchases to try them out.

Not long after, we were at the guest room tearing the paper bag open, revealing our purchases. Kiyoshi then get what is his, and I get what is mine. We then took a couple of glances at them with interest and a bit of enthusiasm.

"Wow, I never value the usefulness of these things before," I commented to Kiyoshi.

"I had been valuing them for a long time," Kiyoshi responded back,

After that, on the floor, Kiyoshi gave me some lessons and tips on how to keep a journal and write in it. Those lessons and tips are short, but they're mostly life-changing, so I began to practice by writing about my childhood in the first pages of my personal journal. Kiyoshi observed with honest evaluation and gave me some positive compliments. I was happy at him being such a good person to me. Back in the day, I assumed that people are bad and dishonest to me. But now, I felt that assumption had been debunked.
