Chapter 27: Bachelor and Bachelorette Outings

Justice had a beautiful baby girl, Jenna Anne Frost, about two months ago. Her ex-boyfriend contacted her right before she gave birth saying he wanted another chance. She decided to give him another chance but told him that they had to go slow. He was fine with that as long as he got to see Jenna. The others and I have been keeping a close eye on him just in case he decides to hurt Justice and Jenna again.

Jax and Mea are four months old and they are doing so much. They can hold their heads up and turn from side to side at the sound of our voices. Any little thing we do, like make funny faces, makes them squeal and giggle. They sleep for most of the night, only waking up about two times to eat. Dr. Stringer has suggested a lot of activities for us to do with them including stretching out their limbs and lots of tummy time.

Today is my bachelorette party and I'm so excited but nervous at the same time. I have no idea what to expect from these girls today and I just hope they don't go overboard.

We're all wearing romper shorts, mine is white and says bride in gold lettering while Beths, Ariels, and Justices are black and say squad in gold lettering. We're all wearing gold vans.

"We look so cute," Justice squeals.

We nod in agreement with her and Beth says, "We sure do, but there's no time to dilly dally, we have a whole lot of fun adventures ahead of us."

"Why can't we just stay in and watch movies or something," I groan. I don't feel like going anywhere but the guys aren't listening to a word I'm saying.

"Because we made some super awesome plans," Brian tells me with a big grin on his stupid face. I roll my eyes at him and grumble under my breath.

"It's really cool of you guys to invite me even though you don't really know me, besides the fact that I hurt J," Seth, Justice's boyfriend, says. I invited him along so we could get to know him better. Justice said that she wanted us to give him a chance to redeem himself.

"No problem man, Justice wanted us to get a chance to get to know you," I tell him.

"Why did you break things off with her in the first place," Rico asks.

"I was scared, I mean I'm a kid and I have a kid," he starts, taking a deep breath, and then continuing. "I was being dumb and didn't want to be tied down. It kicked me into gear when she left our school. Not seeing her every day affected me more than I thought it would, and then I started thinking about our kid and I knew that I wanted to be in its life. I'm so glad I contacted her when I did. I missed most of her pregnancy and almost missed the birth of Jenna. Seeing her every day puts a smile on my face and I feel so guilty for what I did to them."

The guys and I are quiet, just taking in what he said. I understand being scared of fatherhood. I would never have handled it the way he did, but I get it. I can really tell that he loves them and that he's really remorseful for his actions.

"The fact that you're trying makes you good in my books," Bri says, throwing his arm around his shoulder.

"Just don't think about hurting them ever again," Rico warns him and I agree with him.

"Never again," Seth promises.

"Now that that's settled, can we go and get this night over with," I say. The guys laugh and we head out.

*Mardrianna POV*

I'm having so much fun so far! We first went to eat at Chick-Fil-A and now we're at Altitude Chicago Trampoline Park.

"I've always wanted to come to one of these places," Ariel says excitedly.

"Me too," Justice squeals.

"Let's go have some fun ladies! The last one in the foam pit is a rotten eye," I yell, taking off.

Beth, Ariel, and I have been doing gymnastics since we were three, and Justice has been doing cheerleading since she was five so we're all pretty flexible and agile. We do jumping competitions and have a lot of fun for hours. Once we're all tired out we go and play a few rounds at Neon Summer Chicago, which has Go-Karting and Mini-Golf.

"Thanks for tonight girls, it was really fun," I tell them as we head back to my house.

"Of course," Beth says giving me a huge grin.

"I'm glad you had fun," Ariel says.

"It's not a problem, I'm glad we could make this night special for you," Justice says, turning around and giving a soft smile.

"I can't wait to get home to my babies," I say. I've missed them and can't wait to cuddle them.

I hate to admit it, but I'm having a great time. We went to an arcade and hung out there for a couple of hours and now we're at Wendy's.

"You know, you're not so bad," Rico tells Seth.

"Yeah, as long as you don't hurt Justice and Jenna we're gonna be great friends," Brian says.

"Thanks, guys, I've been having a great time getting to know you," Seth says with a smile.

We finish eating and then head to our next destination, which is Diversey River Bowl. We do a few rounds of individual bowling and then a round of team bowling. Brian ends up winning the individual bowling while Seth and I win the team bowling. We head out and go back to my house.

Tomorrow is the wedding and I won't be able to see Anna until she walks down the aisle. Her parents are watching Jaxon and Meanna so I won't see them until tomorrow either, which I'm really sad about. I know it should be nice to have a break but after spending so much time with them I hate being away from them. I guess I'm just going to have to spend a night without them and deal with it.
