Chapter 29: Wedding

*Danny POV*

Sheril walks out before me and heads to her seat while I head to stand to the right and in front of the pastor. Jerrico walks out next and comes to stand to my right, he is followed by Brian and then Seth. Next, Justice comes out and stands to the left of the pastor. Seth can't seem to take his eyes off of her and she notices, blushing a deep red. He sees this and smirks at her, giving her a wink, making her roll her eyes. Ariel comes to stand next to Justice, followed by Bethany. The music changes to the bridal song and Jane and Little Greg come down the aisle.

When I see Mardrianna and her dad come out, tears immediately come to my eyes with how beautiful she is. I can't believe this woman is about to become my wife. I can't completely see her face because of the veil, but I know she looks stunning under it. They reach me and her dad kisses her on the forehead then places her hand in mine telling me, "Treat her right."

"Always," I reply, not once taking my eyes off of Anna. I can see the tears in her eyes through the veil as my own tears continue to fall down my face.

The pastor starts the ceremony, "You may all be seated."

*Mardrianna POV*

Welcome everyone to this exciting moment in Mardrianna Skylar Munrowe and Daniel Xander Robert's lives. We're gathered here to have fun, honor, and celebrate the love of Mardrianna and Daniel as they get married on this day! I'm sure you all share in the anticipation for today and I would like to let you know that the fact you are all here means you mean a whole lot to them. You are the people that share their love, laughter, and tears with this couple. You support them and supply them with different aspects that they will need for a long and happy life together. They thank you all for being here today as well as those who could not be here today," the pastor says to the crowd.

He then looks at Danny and me and continues. "Mardrianna and Daniel, your relationship stands for friendship, love, honesty, and trust. You are not just in love with one another, you're also best friends and that is the foundation for your relationship. Think of the fun you have and how much you enjoy doing it with one another as you both take a leap of faith into the commitment of marriage. This ceremony solidifies your physical, emotional, and moral union. Daniel, you're found Mardrianna and with her, you can safely let your guard down and be vulnerable. You've got someone to share the smallest things with, like conversations over dinner or on a walk, as well as someone to support you during tough times."

He pulls out a bible and says, "I would like to read a bible passage, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails."

He closes the bible and continues, "The bride and groom have decided to say their own vows. Who would like to go first?"

"I would," Danny says before I can say anything. He takes a deep breath before beginning. "Anna, I have loved you since I first laid my eyes on you. I knew then that I would one day make you mine forever. I fall in love with you more and more every day. You are my best friend, my love, and the mother of my two beautiful babies. I promise to love and cherish you through whatever life decides to throw at us. I will try to be the best husband and father I can be for the rest of our lives together."

By the end, I am a gigantic mess of tears.

"How am I supposed to follow that," I ask, laughing through my tears, everyone laughing along with me. I begin my vows, "Danny, as soon as I saw you I fell hopelessly in love with you. You were this cute new boy that Jerrico and Brian introduced to our little group of friends and I knew that you were going to be it for me. When I got pregnant I was so scared that you would leave me but you stood by me throughout all of it. You have been my rock and I will love you for the rest of my life. I promise to be yours and only yours for the rest of my days."

The pastor takes back over with the ceremony. "Daniel, do you take Mardrianna to be your lawfully wedded wife; to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health? Will you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, forsaking all others and keeping only unto her from this day forward until death do you part?"

"I do," Danny replies, tears streaming down his face.

The pastor turns to me, "Mardrianna, do you take Daniel to be your lawfully wedded husband; to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health? Will you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, forsaking all others and keeping only unto him from this day forward until death do you part?"

"I do," I say, giving a small smile.

"If I could please have the rings," the pastor says.

Greg Junior brings the rings up with the biggest grin on his face. He hands them to Jerrico, who passes them to the pastor.

"Thank you, now Daniel, repeat after me," the pastor says. "I give you this ring to wear as a symbol of my enduring love, my eternal faith, and my undying devotion. It is an outward reminder of our inner unity."

Danny repeats his words, then puts the beautiful rose gold wedding band that has our initials written on the inside on my left-hand ring finger.

The pastor turns to me next and tells me to repeat the same thing. I do and then I put an identical wedding band on Danny's left-hand ring finger.

"With the power vested in me by the state of Illinois, I now pronounce you husband and wife," the pastor says with his hands in the air. "You may now kiss the bride!"

Danny lifts my veil and places a passionate kiss upon my lips, that makes my toes curl. I can hear everyone cheering in the background but all that matters at the moment are us. We pull away and put our foreheads together, looking into each other's eyes.

"I love you so much," he tells me to which I reply, "I love you so much more." He gives me one last kiss and then we turn to the crowd of guests.

"Thanks for coming everyone! Please join us in the big tent for the reception and you can retire to your hotel rooms at any time," I announce.

Me, Danny, and our wedding party, which includes the guys, the girls, our parents, Jane and Greg Junior, and the babies, head to take some pictures. There is an area behind the tent that has fairy lights hung from trees and a backdrop that has fake snowflakes taped to it in different sizes. I take some pictures with my parents, some with Jane and Greg, some with Danny, Jax, and Mea, some with Danny and Pat, some with the girls, some with Justice and Jenna, some with the guys, some with Danny, the girls, the guys, and Greg Junior and Jane, and some with just Danny.

Danny does the same thing and then the girls whisk me away to help me change into my reception outfit. I change into a white satin dress that stops at the knees and has a thin belt around the waist. The top is an open back scoop neck and has long sleeve lace over the satin part, stopping at the waist. I exchange my heels for some light blue glittery flats. We head back down for the party after we are done touching up our makeup.

"Are y'all ready to party," Ariel yells.

"Hell yeah," we yell back and head to meet back up with the others.
