Sianna gasped in shock. "How could this be? Carlos would never hurt me."

She wasn't sure why she trusted Carlos so much but that was not her question. "Answer my question, mother. Does the tattoo look like this or not?"

"It's exactly like that." She answered, then looked at Carlos and Kara. "There is a misunderstanding, right?"

"I hope." She dragged Carlos out of the ward and he immediately shut her with his forefinger on her lips.

"You do know I couldn't have done it, right? I was with you at the time this happened to Sianna. Besides, she is right. I would never hurt her."

"That's not the point, okay?" She nearly yelled as her eyes watered. "Do you know why mother saw this exact tattoo? Do you remember why you have it?"

It took him a second and his eyes twitched. "It couldn't be."
