Life Changed

"Hey, we got to go!" Katie yells over the music. "Why?!" I yell back. "Max called!" she yells back. Well, there goes our club night.

We had gone to mall then we got bored, so we went to the club. A lot of cute guys were looking at me and all. Before we could leave, I fell hands go up and down my body. And for some reason, I like it.

"Hey baby." he said. "Hey." I say letting him have full control of me. "Do you have a boyfriend?" he asks. "Yes. Do you have a girlfriend?" I ask. "No, but you can be." he said. "How old are you?" I ask. "20. You?" he asks. "17." I speak. "Mm, only three years apart." he said kissing my neck. "Yep." I say looking at the tattoo on his arm. A snake. I'm going to die.

Before I could I move away, the guy turns my around and I'm shocked.

"Liam?" I ask. "Hey baby girl." he said pulling my somewhere. "Where are we going?" I ask. "Just trust me." he said as we go out the back. "Liam. You're scaring me." I speak. "You shouldn't be. Look, I'm doing this for you." he said as I see Alex car.

He comes out and our eyes meet. He looks over out Liam and guns are pointed.

"Let go of her!" Alex yells. "You had one job to do and you didn't do it." Liam said. "What are you saying. The Snakes want me dead." I speak. "Your father hacked it. He doesn't want you dead." Liam said. "My real father?" I ask. "Yes, and your mother to. Your foster mother was shot." he said. "No. Alex saved us." I speak. "That's what you think? You didn't tell her the whole story, did you?" Liam asks.

"Alex knew everything about you. The day you were born and everything. When your father found out, he should've killed him, but he didn't. Your father told you to never go near him. Alex got mad. He set up something and you lost your memory." Liam explains.

Alex promised me that we wouldn't keep anything from each other. And he lied. He knew everything and he couldn't tell me.

"Aaliyah, please." Alex begs. "I loved you. I trusted you. You made me feel safe. But you lied. You did all of this to hurt me. Why?" I ask. "I never wanted to hurt you. I wanted you." he said. "So what? You had me almost killed? I'll do what my father told me to do in the first place: Don't be near you." I speak.

After that, he tries to change me, but I don't know anymore. I let Liam take me into a limo and we leave. Moments that I was with Alex flash in my head. I find myself crying and I let Liam hold me. We stay like tis until the limo stops. The door opens and I see two people.

"Aaliyah." the men said. At that moment everything hits me. The day I was born, the accident, meeting my foster parents, to now.

"Aaliyah. It's okay. Come here." my father said. "How?" is all I can say. "I have you back. That's all that matters." he said. "Let's get you inside. It's cold out here." mom said as we walk inside.

I'm home. My real home. Tomorrow I have a lot of this I have to change, but right now, I need some sleep.
