He was a monster, but they had created him, and he was bad. Alanor was the kind of evil that no dictionary even had a description for yet. 

He had vowed against Udrad's peace until he got his revenge, and no one would stop him, not even the mate the fates had forced on him.

"We always listen, son. Which is why you're not allowed to leave Udrad. We will find Ramon ourselves. We will deal with him. The only thing you have to do is to stay here in Udrad and be happy.

"Take a break from everything Alanor and live your life with your mate. You deserve it after everything that had happened alright,"  Heide said to Alanor who looked at him and their friends who were nodding in agreement.

It was almost like they wanted him out of the battlefield beyond Udrad completely but why else would they be that determined to make him stay away from the chaos beyond?

"But—" Alanor began but Heide continued.

"If you don't listen to me, and stay home with Unar, Delbert will stay to watch over you," Heide said.

"Technically you'll have a babysitter," Ulrike added with a chuckle.

"And he is good at shadowing people," Cass added.

"He won't let you leave his sight," Zelina said.
