The Killer's plan

"Dristan."

I looked at my office's door and I saw Jabez, standing with car keys in his hand. "Hey, Jabez. Thanks for your hard work," I said as I arranged the papers on my table.

It is hard to manage two companies with different purposes. In my case, I'm holding two companies and one of them is running illegally. It's making me tired and so is Jabez. He's a secretary at Aegis Oasis and when it comes to False Collateral he's a boss. He does most of the work.

"Yeah," he answered shortly. He walked towards the locker inside my office to put back the keys of the armed vehicle. He told Castellano earlier that the job's going to be done after 3 days. I wonder what kind of method he's going to use?

"Are you sure the job about Chris Liam's going to be done in just 3 days?" I asked while looking at him. I already finished arranging the papers and it's time to go home.

"It's a secret," he answered as he stood up to grab his coat. "Let's go."

I put on my coat and followed Jabez. "I'm curious, how are you going to do it?" I asked again. There are no employees at this hour, this is the best time for us to talk about this kind of business.

"Can't you just wait until 3 days? You're being too nosy," he said while frowning at me.

"Alright," I replied.

We entered the elevator to the underground parking lot. I was the one who designed this. We are running an illegal business inside a well known business, so I wanted to be more cautious. The underground parking lot is for my clients at false collateral and for my hired men's. Only selected people are allowed to get in and out, we have a specific card that we used to open the gate. It cannot be duplicated nor used if it's not the owner.

"I'll get going now. Take care and sleep early, you need to rest," Jabez said before he gets into his sports car. He immediately drove off, leaving me all alone at this huge parking lot. I got into my car and drove off as well. Jabez and I aren't living together. He suggested it at first but I realized that it's not good for us to stay in the same place far from our company.

(Two days later)

2 days have passed and I'm still waiting for Jabez to make a move. He didn't told me what kind of assassination he's going to do. I'm worried and at the same time excited for what is about to happen. We haven't accepted any other jobs for now. We need to focus on this one because one wrong move will cost us everything, even our life. People have had their eyes on my company since the day I built it. If I happen to spill any information about the False Collateral, they will bring down Aegis Oasis to expose False collateral.

"Mr. Manson," Jabez said while looking at me. He's holding the keys of his car, is he going somewhere?

"What is it, Mr. Wilkes?" I asked.

"I'm going to leave early for today. I have some business I need to finish," he explained.

I wonder what kind of business it is? He doesn't work in other companies, does he?

"Alright, do you mind if I asked where?"

"I'm sorry. We are not in the right place to talk about this. I'll get going now," he said as he walked towards the elevator.

I watched him as the elevator door closed. He's being more secretive than before, I wonder what's got into him?

"Goodness! Dristan's being too nosy," I said right after I got into my car.

I was planning on keeping my plan a secret for all of them. It's been so long since I got this kind of job and I'm excited. To think that I'm going to exterminate a horrible person is making me more excited. Since Dristan found the False Collateral, 5 years ago. We finish our job with the use of gun and other assassination weapons that is known. I have never thought that the day will come that I will be able to kill a soon to be president who's going to bring ruins in our country. I didn't want to use this, because I was saving this for the last but it looks like I have no choice. It's not like I can just pull a trigger in Chris Liam's head. This is my trump card, a very deadly yet silent killer.

"Who are you?" the man in the gate said while pointing a gun into my head.

After an hour of driving I arrived at this farm who's owned by someone I know.

"Jabez Wilkes," I replied.

"What are you doing here? This is a private property, you are not allowed to get inside," the man guarding the gate said.

He's still pointing the gun at me. They sure are strict on their privacy, I guess I'm in the right place.

"Tell Dominic that I'm Jabez Wilkes," I said to the guard while holding my own gun.

I didn't come here unprepared. I know they will be armed and so am I. I ain't going down without a fight.

"Drop your gun!" the guard exclaimed. "What do you think you are doing?"

I smirked as I pointed my gun into his face. "What's it going to be?" I asked. "It's either you are going to get me Dominic, or we are going to settle this right here, right now."

"You are crazy! I won't sell out my boss," he shouted.

He was about to pull the trigger when someone shouted.

"What is happening?" the man shouted.

That voice sounds familiar, that must be Dominic.

"Boss!" the guard shouted back. "Don't come near here, it's not safe!"

"Hey, Dominic!" I shouted while waving my other hand.

"That voice. Jabez? Is that you Jabez Wilkes?" he shouted back. I watched him run towards us. "Oh my god, it is you! Jabez Wilkes!" Dominic exclaimed. "What are you doing here?" he asked while looking at me who's still pointing a gun into his guard's head.

"Nothing, just talking to this guy," I replied.

"Boss! Why did you come here? Did you know this guy?"

"Stop it, Robert. You're no match for Jabez. Even if you're the first one who draws out a gun, you'll never hit him," Dominic said while holding the gun of this Robert guy.

"I'm glad you understand," I said as I put my gun back to my back.

"Of course, I know everything about you," he said as he walked towards me. "I missed you."

"Let go of me," I said as I pushed him away. "I'm here for business. Throw away those stupid emotion of yours."

"You're so cold, just like before. So, what makes you come all over here? I'm sure it wasn't because you wanted us to be back together, right?" he jokingly asked.

"I'm here for something you have," I replied.

He looked at me in confusion but he immediately caught on. "Ah! That thing," he said as he led me the way. "Come, this way over here."
