The Elite Killer

"Good Evening. I have received a call, regarding my request," Mr. Castellano said. I nodded and led him to Dristan's office. After I made a call earlier, Castellano immediately came to the building to talk about his request. I guess he's really desperate.

"Come in, Mr. Castellano," I said as I opened the door for him.

"Good evening, Mr. Manson. I'm glad you called me, I assume you accepted my request?" he asked before sitting down.

"That's what we are going to talk about," Dristan answered. "Get us some coffee, Mr. Jabez." I nodded and I immediately prepared some coffee, I know they won't start the conversation without me. After all, I'll be playing a huge role in this job.

"Here's the coffee," I said while putting it on the table. "Drink it while it's still hot."

"Take a sit, Mr. Jabez," Dristan said while smiling at me. He looks cute every time he addresses me in a formal way. We may be best friends/ childhood friends, but in front of our clients we address each other in a respectable manner.

"Thank you. Mr. Manson," I said as I sat down beside him. "Let's get to business"

"We decided to accept your request, Mr. Castellano," Dristan said as he pulled out something in his drawer.

"Really? That's great!" Castellano exclaimed. He took a sip on his coffee while looking at the envelope.

"But we have one condition," Dristan continued.

Castellano looked surprised, but he immediately answered, "Alright. I will do everything for my family, as long as it is in my power."

Dristan nodded, "If his assassination failed, and we happen to be discovered by the police you are going to help us get away with it. It's either you will sacrifice yourself and I mean you are going to confess the crime without telling them that we are with you. You can also do something that will help us, like giving away some money or using some of your connection," Dristan explained.

I can see how surprised Castellano is, does he think we are going to bet our life with his petty request? There's always a price for every request you asked for someone. Nothing's free in this world anymore.

"Isn't that a little too much?" he asked.

"It's not. This is one of our conditions, if you can't follow this then we are not forcing you. Hired some random hired man to do your job because we aren't going to make a move without any assurance," I said while holding the contract he signed 5 days ago.

"Alright, alright. I agree with your condition, but promise me he will be dead before anyone finds out about it," Castellano said while looking at us, desperately.

"Of course, we cannot risk our own name. That is why I decided to send a special hired man to do the job," Dristan said as he looked at me with a smirk on his face. I know what he means and I'm willing to do everything he wanted me to do. I dedicated my life for him since we were kids.

"Special?" Castellano asked in confusion. "Is there something like that in this company?"

"Of course, it is rare for him to be in action. He'll be doing the job because Chris Liam is not an easy target," Dristan explained. He showed the envelope to Castellano, the envelope where I put all the evidence that I have gathered. "These are the evidence that Mr. Jabez gathered. As you can see, he's going to be the worst president if he happens to be elected at the next election. This country's going to be in a lot of chaos, and on behalf of your request we are glad to take this request for our own satisfaction as well," Dristan explained. He's just too honest, every client he talked to. He never failed to amaze me.

"I see. I'm glad we both agreed on something like his. It will be a huge help for me and for the people of this country," Castellano said as he smiled at Dristan. "I guess this company isn't all about killing."

"We'll have you wait for 3 days. Killing people isn't that easy that it will take us a second to do so," I explained. "I hope you can wait that long, we won't disappoint you."

"Thank you, Mr. Jabez and Mr. Manson. I will get going now. I'll pay you handsomely," Castellano said as he stood up to get ready for his leave.

"I'll walk you in the underground parking lot," I said as I opened the door for him.

"Yes. Please take good care of our client. Jabez," Dristan said before the door closes.

"This way, Mr. Castellano. Have you brought your own car?" I asked.

"No. I used a cab," he replied.

"Alright. I'll send you home with our armed vehicle," I said as we entered the elevator.

"Mr. Jabez, I wanted to know who is this special hired man that Mr. Manson's going to us?" he asked.

I stopped walking to face him, "He's the elite of the elite. He's never been in action for 5 years," I answered. It's funny how I describe myself to him. Am I bragging too much? I opened the door of the armed vehicle and waited for Castellano to get in. I'm going to drive him home to ensure his safety, also to avoid any suspicions outside.

"Really? If he's on a vacation for too long aren't that going to affect his performance?" Castellano asked again.

"No," I answered shortly.

"I wonder how he is going to do it," he asked again.

"You'll find out about it after 3 days," I said as I pulled over in front of his house.

"Thank you," he said.

He's about to get out of the car when I spoke. "The name of that special hired man was, Jabez Wilkes."

He looked at me with his eyes wide open, before he could say anything I immediately drove off. That's right, I'll be the one who's going to do the job. The elite of the elites.
