Lydia's POV
Rest of the evening passed by rather uneventful for me. All I could think about was Blake before I went to bed.
The next day was Friday which meant that there was probably a party going to be hosted. Every Friday, there's a frat party hosted by popular people of the school. Our highschool is well known for it.
I dragged myself into the school after parking my car. I hadn't really slept that well last night because I got my periods in the middle of the night.
The cramps I had could be best described as 'hell'. My mom knew how bad my first day was which is why she was insisting on letting me stay back at home. After a lot of bickering, she obviously let me go.
I pouted as I saw Jacob happily walking towards me. I scowled at him, causing him to stop in between his step and looking at me weirdly.
"You okay?" He asked me and I rolled my eyes, irritated. "What do you think?" I said, sassy. He kept quiet for the rest of the while as we headed to our first lecture, the one we had together.
He pursed his lips as he saw Nate, River, Julia and Alissa approach our bench. "Good morning sunshine." Alissa said, wrapping an arm around me.
"Ugh." I groaned, getting frustrated by my own irritation.
"You started your periods, didn't you?" Asked Alissa, narrowing her eyes at me. "Do you want a mic for your announcement?" I said to which she chuckled, making me scowl at her. I made polite conversations with Nate, Jacob and River, noticing how quiet Julia was.
"Are you okay?" I asked her to which she smiled at me. I raised an eyebrow at her to which she stuck out her tongue, causing me to believe that she was indeed very much okay.
"You girls are coming to my party tonight. No excuses, Lydia. If you feel uncomfortable, I'll give you my room to rest. You need to attend it." Nate said, crossing his arms on his chest.
"You know I don't like parties. I'm not coming." I deadpanned, causing him to roll his eyes. "Come on, Lydia. You don't even have a good excuse this time." Said River, causing Julia, Alissa and Nate to hum in response.
I looked at Jacob for support. "They're not wrong. I really really think you should start socializing more." Said Jacob and i stomped on his foot causing him to groan out loud.
"You are supposed to be on my side." I whisper yelled at Jacob, causing him to snort. "You do know that we can hear you, right?" Said Nate, amused. "I don't care. I'm not coming. Now go away, all of you." I grumbled, annoyed. Nate and River smirked as they walked away while Julia and Alissa looked pretty amused.
"I hate you." I said to Jacob to which he sent a flying kiss towards me. I rolled my eyes at him and laid my head on my desk, waiting for the teacher to show up.
After 3 long ass lectures, it was finally our lunch time. I was currently sitting on our table, almost in tears due to my cramps.
I should've just listened to my mom and stayed back home.
Ugh.
"What's wrong with her?" I heard Blake's voice ask my table, making my heart skip a beat.
"She has been having cramps all day." Stated River.
I felt a couple of light taps on my shoulder causing me to raise my head and look at whoever did that. It was obviously Blake. I bit my lip and I scanned his beautiful face quickly. "You okay?" He asked me, looking concerned, which I am pretty sure was fake.
I shrugged at him, sitting up straight on my seat. I saw Georgia behind him, causing me to smile at her a little. She smiled back at me.
"Have you had anything to eat since breakfast?" She asked me to which I shook my head 'no'.
"Nope. I don't really feel like eating." I said to her to which she sighed. I glanced at Blake for a second, biting the inside of my cheek as I saw him looking at me with a frown.
"I have this tablet for cramps. Although, you'll need to eat something before having that." She said to me as she searched her purse for the tablets.
Why does she have to be so sweet to me all the time?
I saw Blake who turned on his heels, heading to the food section. I saw his arms flex as he leaned on the counter by the support of his arms. I saw as he bought a sandwich and stalked back towards our table.
He kept the sandwich infront of me.
"Eat." He ordered to which I frowned. He's so weird.
"Georgia, place the tablets on the table. I need to meet the coach today." He said to Georgia. She smiled at me apologetically before placing the tablets on the table and sauntering behind.
"Why does she have to go everywhere he goes?" Nate asked noone in particular, looking confused. "He's absolutely obsessed with her dude." Said Alissa, causing a pang of hurt to hit me.
This is the sad reality.
I just can't wait for this school to be over so that I could leave this whole state altogether.
"By the way, where's Jacob?" Asked Julia, wiggling her eyebrows at me. As much as I was thankful for the distraction, it was an absolute stupid one.
"How would I know that?" I asked her, annoyed before eating my sandwich. Everyone chuckled at me and I looked at them confused.
Weirdos.
After lunch, I felt quiet good. The cramps had stopped, thanks to Georgia. I was currently waiting for stupid Jacob as he had texted me and asked for me to wait for him before the last class.
It had been 3 minutes already.
I narrowed my eyes at him as he jogged towards me. My expression changed dramatically as I saw a chocolate in his hands.
"You are my most favourite friend ever." I said to him, snatching the bar of chocolate from his hands.
"I know right." He said, doing a dramatic pout and peace sign causing me to burst out laughing at his antics.
