The tension did not dissipate, and the sounds of everyone slurping pasta was beginning to make Adara's head hurt.

The scalding glares she was receiving from two different directions probably didn't help either.

Reva, for being an Oracle, was quite bad at anticipating what Adara would do. She could blame it on the fact that they haven't known each other for long, but wouldn't that be the perfect way to determine what Adara would do? Why would she pick these people that she just met over a friend that she'd had for years? As discreetly as she could, Adara stared back at Reva with a raised brow. In response, Reva sniffed haughtily and brushed her stark white hair over her shoulder, finally looking away.

Now to deal with the other side of the coin.

Keahi stared at her with a firmly clenched jaw, and the look in his eyes practically begged her, don't do it. Instead of the confrontation that she provided Reva with, she shied away from his withering gaze.
