Hunting for Genes, Fox Massacre Part 2

(Before the Explosion)

A orange fox was currently running towards back to its fox den, It was currently panicking and was running for its life. All of its friends died from an unknown impact that came from something, The orange fox was very lucky that it was far away from the impact site that literally turn its own fox friends into mush.

It was heading towards the fox den at a fast speed, It didn't bother saving a part of its stamina and use all of it towards its speed. A while later, The orange fox stopped running and stop in front of the home that it was supposed to return. It wanted to deliver the news about the death of its friends.

'Help!' The Orange Fox thought, The Foxes around the Fox den notice the shout of the Orange Fox which stop them from moving and turn their head towards the Orange Fox. A while later, A group of foxes that is bigger than normal arrive in front of the crow of foxes that was surrounding the Orange Fox.

'What is it?' A big silver fox appeared at the group of 7 big foxes that was guarding it. It spoke with a grand voice and a noble tone that was heard by every fox in the Fox den. The Orange fox was very happy that someone manages to notice him, The Orange fox wanted to warn the Fox Den of the upcoming danger.

'Where is the Chief!?' The Orange fox shouted towards the Big silver fox, Most of the foxes were confused about what he was saying and after a while, the Big Silver fox walked in front of the Orange fox and spoke with a grand noble tone.

'What is it, Child?' The Silver Fox asked, It wanted to know what was wrong about this Orange Fox. The Orange Fox was fairly young so it was nothing surprising for it to be very noisy, The Orange fox hearing the voice of the Silver fox finally calm himself down. A while later the Orange fox spoke about the problem the Fox Den was facing.

'We have a problem.' The Orange fox thought, The Fox around him was talking to each other about these problems that the Orange fox wanted to inform them. The Big silver fox furrowed its brows when it heard the Orange Fox about a problem, The Big silver fox then asked about the problem.

'What is this problem?' The Silver Fox asked the Orange fox, The Silver fox wanted to know about the problem that Orange Fox spoke of and wanted to know if it was really a problem. When the Orange Fox heard the Silver Fox, It stops for a while and thought about the problem. A while later the question was finally answered by the Orange fox.

'All of my friends died.' the Orange fox said with a sad tone, When hearing what the Orange fox said. The Silver fox knew that the problem must be serious, They have been in this primordial world for a year and manage to gain enough intelligence. But this came with a side effect of being weak which is not allowed in the wild.

'How did they die?' The Silver Fox wanted to know what happened to the other fox, The Foxes around the two were very shocked but the 7 big foxes were still calm since they were the strongest fox in the Fox Den. Orange Fox thought for a while and answered with a calm voice.

'A Black thing came from the sky and crash towards the place where my Fox friends were playing.' The Orange Fox, Although he didn't know what happened it was still easy for him to describe. He was far away from his friends due to some situation but he saw a black thing that came from the sky at a fast speed hitting his friends.

'This is a big problem.' The Silver Fox thought to itself, This was the first time they met something like this. The main problem is that if it was a creature or just a rock that fell from the sky, They knew a lot of flying creatures but they were not enough on killing a lot of foxes in one hit and use its own body to hit the fox or other creatures.

'It will be okay.' The Silver fox said towards the Orange fox, They have something like a telepathic connection towards each other but this won't work on other races. There was a rumor about the Chief being able to Send a message towards other creatures, A meeting would probably be made now to discuss the current problem.

'Are you sure?' The Orange Fox asked, It thought that the black thing was very powerful due to the things that it saw when the Black thing hit the ground. As the Orange Fox had a doubt about the problem getting solve the Silver Fox just smirked and spoke towards the Orange Fox in a blunt voice.

'Don't underestimate our Fox Den, We have hundred of foxes here, and with the Chief we have nothing to fear.' The Silver fox said with a noble tone, The Orange Fox thinking about the Fox Chief decided that the Fox Chief was very powerful. This problem would probably be solved later and all he needed to do was wait for the problem to be finish.

The Orange Fox was still standing there in a daze while the Silver Fox returned back towards the 7 big foxes, The Foxes that made the crowd disperse to continue the things that they were doing. A while later the Silver Fox spoke towards the 7 big foxes with a serious and cold voice, It seems that the noble voice disappeared.

'Head towards the Direction where the Orange Fox came from, Check if there is any dead bodies left in that area.' The Silver Fox ordered the 7 big foxes with a serious voice, This was a serious problem for the Fox Den especially dealing with an Unknown Predator. The 7 big foxes nodded and slowly head towards the direction the Orange Fox came from.

The Silver Fox was all alone and was thinking that he should probably report the problem towards the Chief, While the Silver Fox was having a thought towards the report of the situation. 20 balls that were flying through the sky at a fast speed and were currently heading towards the Fox Den.

The Silver Fox felt a chill coming from its spine, It was very shocking when it felt that chill and finally remembered what the Orange Fox said about the Predator.

'It came from the sky.' The Silver Fox thinking about this realize and stared towards the sky, Although the fox didn't clearly see it. The Feeling of death was slowly creeping towards its body and 20 balls can now be seen heading towards the Fox Den without the intention of stopping itself.

Before the Silver Fox could warn the other fellow fox who didn't know about anything, The 20 Balls came into contact with the ground. And then the process of how it exploded was explained in slow motion, It was clearly seen that as the balls slowly came into contact with the ground the process could be seen.

The Hardened that was all around the balls crack and finally when the ball cracked itself, The Strong Fire Energy inside it was released and came into contact with the air which created a huge combustion of energy. This Energy combined with the 20 balls and some energy overlap into each other creating a very powerful ball of fire.

This Ball of Fire then incinerated the ground forming a crater and as time passes by the 20 balls of fire Energy that combined and contained in the big lump of fireball slowly dispersed a strong heat that burned anything in its path. This was very strong that nothing other than the ground was left when it passed through.

This Energy fireball slowly disperses creating a huge wave of fire that hit the surrounding 500 meters of area, As it continues the Fire wave that was getting bigger slowly got its heat weaker and a while later the wave completely disappeared. Then the Combustion happened creating a cloud that was formed by the Fireball.

No one knows if anything can survive that attack and it was also dangerous not only towards its enemies it was also dangerous for the one that uses it, Elizabeth was lucky that she didn't use it for close range otherwise she might be boiled into a slime water. A while later the Explosion was finally completed and what left it, was a 500 meters wasteland with a 30 meters diameter crater.

Elizabeth who was rolling on the Fox Den that was full of destruction saw a lot of burnt bodies, She was shocked at the effect and thought that it was just supposed to make the foxes feel fear. She was even thinking about how she would devour the whole bodies around her especially the burnt bodies or cooked bodies.

'Wow, The Effect of the Ballistic skill is surprising that even I am thinking that this was overkill.' Elizabeth thought It was surprising for her, The Being and the One that killed also massacre a whole generation of monsters thinking about overkill is very surprising. Elizabeth looked around and decided to devour the whole burnt bodies.

'I still need to eat this.' Elizabeth stared at the burnt bodies around her, She sighed and just rolled around the whole destroyed fox den and collected the dead bodies. After collecting the dead bodies that were around her, Elizabeth waited for the Notification. A while later the notification was finally heard.

'Only 99? But considering the Foxes that is beside the ground zero. I guess these numbers are okay since it will make my skill reach (C).' Elizabeth thought, It was a sad thing that the numbers didn't reach over a hundred but it was her fault for using such a dangerous skill. She then thought to her mind.

'Yes.' Elizabeth agreed and the bodies were now getting devoured by the skill, She then proceeds to look around the area and saw the destruction her Ballistic skill brought. She was surprised about this but with this skill, she can be safe and not worry about enemies bigger than her.

'I wonder what would happen if I put other elements.' Elizabeth thought, This was a good question. If this was the effect of the Fire Energy what about the Energy that came from other elements. Isn't this very good and the terrain would probably help the fire spread out much faster, She was even curious what would happen if she releases this in a forest.

'Let's think about that later and leave this place.' Elizabeth decided to test the other elements later and leave this devastated place. This was what Elizabeth decide and slowly rolled away from the Fox Den, But there was a weird feeling creeping up towards her. This feeling was a feeling of something that would make her life in danger.

'What is this.' Elizabeth thought, She couldn't leave the area and before she leaves the area. Elizabeth turn around and stared at the devastated Fox Den, She stared at it for a second and something was moving inside the broken area. This was a huge problem for her and a while later Elizabeth finally saw the enemy she was waiting for.

'What the-' Elizabeth thought when she saw the enemy, It was surprising for her to see something like this and she shouldn't have underestimated the Bastard race. The Creature that she manages to see was something that was very similar to the creatures she burned, The difference was that it has 2 tails on its back and was looking at her with hatred.

'Two-Tailed Fox!' Elizabeth met a two tailed fox...
