Sure I had considered Alfie to be a protective, threatening and caring kinda guy. Never had I ever imagined how scary it would be if those emotions came all at once and with such intensity. 


“What are you doing here?” he growled and my instincts told me to run and not look back. It took me everything to stand there, look straight into his eyes and convince him that I wasn’t a threat. 


“Playing Dora, the Explorer. What about you?” 


He glanced at his brother through the corner of his eyes as if trying to decide whether to trust me or come up with something that I would believe. 


“Hey, let’s pretend this never happened and I can go back to not knowing this place. Everyone deserves their privacy protected. You can talk whenever you feel like it or never would be fine as well,” saying this I started to turn away.
