Elise, who is an orphan, was one day transmitted to a murim(martial world) after an unfortunate car accident. There she was taken in by a clan and learnt many techniques but fates befell and conflict between clans started to rise; killing Elise in the process.

The Versatile Young Lady

'What? Why would a relic from the murim be here?' Young-mi thought to herself, but then again it could just be a coincidence in the design. However, she won't know the truth until they bring the item out on stage.


Before she could finish her question, Young-hee quickly interrupted and said, "That will be the item we will be bidding. It will be a gift for someone who we are going to meet later today."


'I'm also going to be going? I wonder who this person is...' Young-mi though, but she didn't ask anything further and just remained silent for the rest of the remaining minutes before the auction finally started.


"Ladies and gentlemen, thank you all for attending Pandora Auction House.' A young woman introduced herself behind the podium then continued, "Today, Pandora will be auctioning off a variety of top-quality goods from the West as well as sacred ancient treasures from Asia!"


"Without any further delay, let begin with our first item..." Shortly afterward, the first few items on the list were brought out one by one and were all sold to the winning bidder. The minimum bidding price differs with each other but the least amount was a starting price of $50,000.


If not calculating Young-mi's upfront payment, anyone of those items sold today would have easily surpassed Young-mi's yearly salary of only $108,000; the second item on the list had a minimum bidding price, double of her yearly salary!


As beautiful and expensive looking those items may be to others in the auction hall, Young-mi had no interest in those 'garbages'; she had already gotten sick of how much low-class garbages they sell in the auction back in murim, now the items in front of her is simply only used for appearance and to show off their wealth. Of course, people back in murim also buy them to show off to others but those items can at least still be commended for their "low-class" abilities.


"Our 13th item on the list is an Alexandrite & Diamond Pendant with Silver White Chain. As you can see, the pendant is shaped like a droplet by a famous Craftsman from Dubai. It's rare sapphire colour is only one of a kind thus far!" After introducing the necklace, the woman then continued to say, "Starting bid is $100 million!"


"Whoa! Did she just say the starting price at $100 million?!" The crowd below instantly exploded, they wonder just who would be willing to spend so much money at one on a necklace!


'It's indeed quite a lot of money for useless garbage such this.' Young-mi thought to herself. Although she still doesn't remember what the value of money can get her in this world, she can clearly tell that the amount is far from being huge; she garnered that even if she worked for a lifetime as an average Korean, she wouldn't even be able to get close to this number. No, even if she worked for eighty years with her current salary, she would still be unable to pay the minimum bidding price!


"$100 million!" Suddenly a voice of a man shouted across the auction house from next door to the VIP room that Young-mi was in.


"Whoa! Someone really bidded so much for a necklace!"


"Who was it?... Wait isn't that Boss Kwan from the KCB corporation?!"


"No wonder! If it was Boss Kwan then spending this much is nothing!"


Boss Kwan...If Young-mi remembered correctly, he is the CEO of KCB; an almost equal competitor to YCB.


Just as everyone including Young-mi thought that Boss Kwan was going to win the witness, suddenly another voice resounded across the auction house, "$200 million!"


"$200 million! Anyone else?... $200 million going once..."
