Attack

Haley POV-

I and mariah was sitting in the room chatting about random stuff. I told her everything about my kingdom. She was astonished. She asked me reason for being a healer. I told her all the truth. I thought she is gonna pity me which i would definitely hate it, I'm telling you. But what shocked me that she accepted it without any emotion of pity on her face instead her face started glowing. She said that she is proud of me because its really difficult how i accepted my life as it is.

Then i ask about herself. She said that she belongs to the other pack which beta steve found when he went to that pack on behalf of mr. Alpha's matter. They found each other by their scent and besides their wolves, they themselves fell in love with each other instantly. She appreciated steve too much for his work, looks, loyalty to this pack, and how much humble he is to other members even if they are omega. And she herself is beta's daughter.

She also told me that mr. Alpha helps everyone a lot. Though he didn't show any affection towards anyone like steve do but he indirectly help others very much. And I'm not gonna lie but my wolf was howling with joy after knowing that he is this much nicer to everybody. I'm proud to be her mate. I wanna know him more but by himself. But i think he is not that expressive.

Suddenly, i don't know from where the idea of roaming in the jungle came to my mind.

I requested mariah too much but she denied. When i was on the verge of fake crying she agreed. But she told me that we have to do this by escaping the eyes of gamma luca. Because he is incharge of here right now. And i agreed

I never have a run in the woods. I'm soo excited, And my wolf is more than me

By window, mariah look outside but there was no one. She asked me if i can jump out of the window or not in my wolf form.

My wolf agreed.

We turn into our wolf form. Mine was silver. Mariah's wolf was grey color with white patches in the back and her tail. She looked beautiful. We escaped.

She ran after me. I wasn't that fast but she managed with me by slowing her pace. We played a little bit by hiding behind the bushes or jumping on each other. Even our wolves were getting along really well.

We sat by the small lake. The silence and the voices cricket were making was peaceful.

She lied down on my back. Aww she wants to be pampered or what. I looked at her. She closed her eyes and i lied down so that my stomach would be flat and comfortable for her to lay on.

We lay there silently and we were enjoying that when a noise took our attention. She got alerted and by the next second she was standing on her four legs. Her eyes for a second glazed over and i thought that she is talking to someone.

I stood beside her too. A voice came into my mind.

'We should go from here hal. Something is not right'

Woah that voice sounds like mariah.

'because i am the one talking to you right now. Wolves can mind link each other, now move your bloody ass and start running'

She told me and i started running. She was behind me protecting from any danger. We ran, when a big wolf came infront of me suddenly and i stopped immediately.

I gulped. He was huge and his eyes were red.

'Shit! Rouge'

Oh no. I know this. My mom told me about rouges when she tell me about my real mother being beaten by them.

That means they harm us.

Saliva was falling out of his mouth. I cringed and took steps backward. He growled and came forward when mariah came in between and growled at him barring her teeth at him.

He growled and attcked at her.

I was too shocked to even move. When he came for her leg she went yo his neck. And obviously neck was nearer so she bite him on the neck. He howled painfully and fipped her over. She fought for the dominance but he scratched her stomach with his claws. She grumbled and when she was going to bit him once more on the neck. He bite her on the neck.

She howled. If i was in my human form. By the time i will be crying. But i didn't know what to do. I don't know how to fight this bloody asshole. Even i growled at him but he barked at me in response and took steps forward. I was too scared. I was never a princess who is well trained to fight, that mean i don't kbow basic skills of fightibg. though i can fight with sword but right now the situation is different.

'Run, run to the pack hal. Please run. Don't submit youself, don't worry about me, i will heal go. He wants to kill you'

'Are you freaking kidding me, i told you to come with me. I'm not going to leave you alone.

'I mind linked luca, he is coming. But if u stood like that this bloody Bastard will definitely going to kill you. Go save yourself.'

Her raspy voice came in my mind like she is going to faint. I got out of my trance when growled and lurked at me. I dodged and ran away like a coward.

I feel like a bloody coward running like this. I wanna fight him but I'm not stronf enough to do so. Even my wolf is submissing infront of him. I ran but he is fast. He didn't see my dodging so he fall on the bushes when i dodged and run. Now he is a little far away from me but i can tell. I'm gonna be his dinner tonight. When i thought I'm gonna hide behind anything he attacked at me from behing falling both of us on the ground pinning me beneathe him.

I again tried to scare him barring my teeth growling but all i was doing dumb.

He growled at me and my wolf instantly hid in a corner putting her tail between her legs.

His saliva was falling on my neck where he was sniffing me. I almost vomitted when he growled and attacked me. I howled, grumbled. He bit on my neck when a powerful growling came from behind. I felt dizzy so i obviously can't see who was that. But all i could see was a big black wolf with blurry vision. And that faint smell of scent hit my nose when i instantly remembered him before the darkness clouded my vision.

Mr. Alpha.

ChrisPOV-

I parked the car, and enter the mansion only to met luca with disappointed and scared face. No, not the time to scold anyone right now. Firstly i have to find haley and mariah.

"Alpha, warriors are on the search for luna and mariah." he told bowing down his head.

"Better be" i growled threatening him. "Go and take care of steve, he is weak now"

I exit the mansion and ran into the wood turning into my wolf form. Laven, my wolf was already impatience for his mate. I ran fast,trying to sniff her scent which is very faint. But what shocked me more is that there was little bit smell if a rouge mixed with hers. Shit!

After passing a long distance i noticed two wolves fighting or i can say a big brown wolf was standing on a silver one. Haley.

As i was going to attack him, he attacked her neck. I growled. He bit him. My eyes turn red from anger. I notice how haley's eyes dimmed, it's shine gone. Before she fainted, she looked at me and then relief washed over her face.

When her eyes dropped i growled and barred my teeth to him. He pinned my mate to ground. He did not only touched her but bite as well. I will kill him. My wolf was mad and i was definitely more than him.

I attacked him. He goes for my leg but i took his stomach and bite there. He growled and howled painfully but i never stopped. He bit on my leg. He is smaller than my wolf but still trying to be dominant. I growled at him. By the time i finished, his stomach insides were all over the ground. He died there and felt satisfied. I looked at haley.

Her blood was losing so i ran to her turning into human form. At that time i didn't care for my nakedness. My wolf howled in agony looking at her in this state.

I took her in my arms and ran for the pack hospital. Pack hospital was just behind my mansion so it was still a little far from where i was right now. She can't shift because she fainted in her wolf form.

After few minutes when i reached there pack doctor and nurse took her on the stretcher. There were some warriors so i didn't care about how i look. I was breathing heavily. I am scared to death. I don't wanna lose her. She told me in the morning that she will wait for me, so that we can have dinner.

She have to woke up and we will eat together. My eyes almost filled with some unshed tears. But i controlled myself. Luca came to me with a shirt and jeans and i took it from him. In the hospital's restroom i wore the clothes and came out in the waiting room. Mariah was admitted too, she is as bad as haley.

Steve is weak so he was just sitting on the chairs of waiting room with a dull face. This mate bond is always does things to us. He is not that weak that he could not fight anyone. But his wolf is weak.

My wolf was in pain. He was whimpering inside my mind. But i can't show anyone because i have to be strong for everyone else.

Protecting her was my promise to her father. Now how will i raise my head infront of him. His brother will acusse me again, not that i care. All i care is for her only. She should be fine that's all matters.

I sent my warriors to rouges body. They will investigate and give me information about where he came from. And i also have to call the meeting so that i can discuss that why heck there isn't patrolling on my pack border. These all questions are revolving in my mind. But my first priority is my mate and my beta's mate.

They should be fine. That's it.
